StyLiS DID have some run ins with copyright in some areas before (specifically the glock family being renamed to just the G family, as well as the Remington 870/700 being renamed to Model 870/700) but for the most part they skirt around possible copyright issues by using official military designations of some weapons (SIG P320 is labelled as the M17)

PF uses real weapon names and models because their studio is made up of a few people and nowhere near as big as Sledgehammer, and their game is a third-party game made in Roblox, so they don’t have to worry about restrictions and copyrights NEARLY as much as Sledgehammer does

One interesting thing to note about that for the HAMR IAR, or the lmg version of ScarL, under countinous shooting, its firerate also increases from 650 to 900, which is a neat detail for a Roblox game, and yes its a real thing, the IAR is designed to shoot faster under continuous spray due to its internal heat making shooting more quicker

this is an amazing display of how much Stylis studios (creators of phantom forces) actually care about their game. I have never seen a group of developers so dedicated to a shooter game, with frequent improvements, updates, and content added to the game over the years.

I didn't expect this video to happen, but here we are 😂 Btw, if it coming to this point, why not making a dedicated video for phantom forces?

Should have included the Renetti and the PF M9, also including the Renetti's 93R mod with the PF version too

Love that in MW3 the spend cartridge casings will just disappear on-screen right after firing, while with PF the spent cartridges will land on the ground and disappear after a bit.

i know, it’s weird. what makes it weirder is the old cods did it too (MW2 2009, for example) and it’s even weirder that they don’t do it in MW23 cause each shell casing in MW23 is individually modeled with extreme details, but they can’t throw that model on the floor💀

The thing most people don't catch about PF is it's basically a triple hybrid between BF, CoD and CS:GO The current Game play is inspired by CoD The HUD is straight out of Battlefield The way you get skins is through a case/key roll of the dice that was taken from CS:GO

they really aren’t. they’re good, but they’re really low poly and textureless. the parts don’t move on some guns, sometimes the bolts don’t lock back on some guns (G36 for example) some weapons are incorrectly depicted with reciprocating charging handles, etc. although they do use real weapon names and models, the weapons in MW23 are photographed, scanned, modeled (modified to avoid copyrights, i’m assuming) and then ported into the engine. it sucks that cod can’t use the names and models cause of California laws, copyrights and restrictions, but overall i think both games do a pretty good job with models, just MW23 has more detail in them

@@elongated_musket6353 oh, that’s because PF is developed by a small studio made up of a few people and is a third-party game made in Roblox, so they are much less prone to copyrights and restrictions, (but this doesn’t mean they’re invincible to them. apparently PF devs got hit by Glock for using their weapons in PF) meanwhile Sledgehammer is a well known, AAA studio and creators of multiple CoD games, so they’re much more prone to restrictions, laws and copyrights. Activision and developers have gotten into some trouble with manufacturers before, so it’s just not worth the risk. it sucks i think i wrote too much lol

definitely takes the cake in terms of gameplay and soul, I’ll always come back to phantom forces while CoD is releasing yet another rushed disappointment

on phantom forces expect a lot of stolen soudns from games like older cods (mw2, mw3, bo1, bo2, bo3) and battlefields (1, 3, 4 and 5) if you play a lot of those games you may recognise some of the sounds.

That's far from the truth, phantom forces is far better than anything modern warfare has to offer, the gameplay is way better along with there being 150 primaries and more than 250 with conversions

I admit that why compare the two games, yes in any way MWIII is better, it has the zombies mode, better graphics, but in any way, the black ops king destroys them

Honestly I prefer pf over mw3 because of the charm of the game and the fact they don't ruin literally any gun to ever exist.

@@Tmayhemwhile its true pf is mostly a better game (especially considering its free), they still ruin certain weapons with balance changes that don’t make sense best example of this is the aug a2 ar, which was buffed into the meta in the most recent update when it already was pretty well balanced before and didnt need it

Fun fact: Phantom Force guns animation are actully​ using CFrame script

the fact that a roblox game has guns almost as good as the newest call of duty speaks volumes

No, not at all. Sure the graphics are worse, but phantom forces has half life two movement, some of the best gunplay, and over 300 guns.

FYI: Phantom Forces is infested with MW3 players💀💀💀
