Another solution that worked for me is that if you just installed new drivers reinstall the same ones but with express installation and it fixes it

I switch my pc to my tv and when I switch back it didn’t let me switch to 120hz is stuck at 60hz.. I choose 120hz but when I click apply it switch’s back to 60 hz

i have tried every option i have found on yourtube including this. everything should work, Pc recognizes monitor is 144hz the graphics card "nvidia" also recognizes this warzone even recognizes it yet when i set it to 144hz in game and press apply it just snaps back to 60fps.

@@AlphaWilson ok i found the fix! well it worked for me. i went to documents, call of duty, players then options.3.cod22.cst, open in note pad then find refresh rate, where it says 60hz, type in the max of refresh rate of your monitor, save file it work for me hopefully it does for you

help Kyra :( it didn't work, I have no Vsync enabled in any options. In Multiplayer + Warzone I get full 144 FPS. In firing Range, Menu, or Co-operative gamemodes, its capped to 60-70 no matter what!

Had an issue with my AMD build. I just had to open my AMD Software and type "graphics" into the search bar. Then select "Advanced Controls". Then disable "framerate target control" if its enabled.

I just got a new 240 hertz monitor and the same thing is happening to me. Stuck on 144 hertz. Wont switch to 240

I'm facing this weird problem with warzone 2 on my laptop: "Asus rog zephyrus g14 gtx 1660 ti max q ryzen 4800hs 16GB"; the HDMI port is related to the AMD integrated Graphic card & not Nividia; i have a 144hz monitor with freesync; which i tried both on & off. The problem is warzone 2 runs almost like Vsync is ON & gets stuck around 60fps, the weird thing is even when I run it at a low setting or basic or even normal; it remains at 60fps; & even when I use any scaling/ sharpening options with different settings from low to ultra; the quality of graphics definitely changes but no significant impact almost non on the fps !!! same with different screen modes, & with vsync on/ off & with fps cap & unlimited & resolution.... I tried the recommended Nvidia GPU within the activation blog, & the latest one; also tried some weird fixes i found on utube like disabling fullscreen optimization & running as admin & changing the core number & the vrame size...etc. yet nothing works... Please if anyone can help or have any idea what is happening...or how i can fix it. because in other games everything works just fine.

@@yugen4070 Hello! I got a RTX 3060, i7 11800H (12 gen) 32 gb RAM and 8 cores. I remember it was smoother and i unfortunately didn't count fps in the beginning when i bought my laptop 3 months ago. But now my fps is around 57-60, tried to change also something inside the folder. In lobby it goes around 80 fps until the plane, and then it lowes down to 60. If you have solved it, let me know. 80 fps would be fine for me, no need to reach 150. I tried every single passage you tried

You all can try clicking the Shader Optimization button the settings in case you haven't, the game will take like ten minutes to compile the shaders and you have to wait in the menu, but I get really bad frames if I don't do this when I change quality settings around. this is a must for this game

I also had to disable my secondary monitors and put the game on Fullscreen Exclusive, as the game runs noticeably worse when windowed/borderless, and with multiple monitors active. Make sure you do this too.

I'm sorry guys, I don't have an amd card, nor do I have a friend who does that I can troubleshoot this with. unless amd has an equivalent control panel app, I'm not sure how to help you. This is what we get from Activision now, broken games and a lack of care for their players.
