the melody suits perfectly a morning when you wake up and think about what you've done in your life. at least that's my opinion.

Love the sound. First learned of these gals when one-half member Bianca spoke highly of Missy Elliott in January 2006 by way of "Dazed & Confused" when she praised Missy's latest album "The Cookbook" (2005) and loved the eff out of Missy's sneakers collection. So sweet. ❤️

8 Years ago, I met a girl who loved CocoRosie. Nowadays I don't know anything about her, but I still listening to this songs and thinking about her :) CocoRosie is magic ♥

Same here, never heard of CocoRosie before a girl showed it to me, probably about 7 years ago... Never did i saw her again after some stupid shits... But every now and then i caught myself coming back to this song and i enjoy it as fck!!! The song is so chill... Just like my life was 7 years ago... CocoRosie is magic indeed :)

Stokes A I always feel like the darkness represents our greatest fears in a way of them presenting our thoughts. I think smokey taboo is content with herself and has a clear idea of who she is and what she stands for. She might be afraid of the surroundings but she's not illuminating the fear herself. That makes sense in my head although it's hard to explain lol

Sharks represent a physical fear, while the dark represents a metaphysical fear of the unknown. Bianca (Coco) is probably saying that she is afraid of the physical world and the harms that may come, but not of the emotional realm. Its her feelings and emotions (dark) that keeps her going through a world of threats (sharks)

I, too, am afraid of sharks and I will not apologize for that. I used to be afraid of the dark but I warmed up to it fast. Hm its always dark inside of our bodies if all goes well
