I've hitchhiked for 17 years.... I can relate....

This hit way close to home for me. It's almost traumatizing because it brought me back to a time when I was emotionally destroyed at my most vulnerable state. I'm so relieved all of that is behind me now....

I've been listening to this song since I was 15, and I'm 26 now. I feel like this song grows along with me; the way I feel about it evolves over time yet it's always simultaneously familiarly warm and freshly heartbreaking.

Word on the street is that my ex husband, who began our relationship by showing me these sisters and their transcendentally beautiful, ethereal music, might have passed away this past month. I still don't know, but it sounds like he's gone. I'll never forget the moment I first heard Coco's voice in Smokey Taboo. It opened my mind and my world and I'll forever remember him as the man who opened me to these women.

En el mes de Abril de este año las chicas de CocoRosie estaban grabando un disco en Buenos Aires junto al productor argentino Nico Kalwill. No se nos ocurrió mejor idea que proponerles hacer un show de una semana para la otra. Las entradas se agotaron esa misma semana y tuvimos que sumar una segunda fecha. Luego de los 2 shows sold out, Bianca y Sierra se quedaron con ganas de mas. Eso terminó en el hermoso video que presentaron hoy para todo el mundo. Filmado y editado en Buenos Aires por Sepia en coproducción con Indie Folks.

This is just Magic. Cocorosie allows me to explore deep dark emotions hidden in myself. Emotions that I didn't want to explore before, but thank the life I found this amazing art that they present. Definitely one of my favorite bands

Close your eyes when you listen to this if you like feeling euphoric. This is so powerful.

This song came out around the same time I was escaping a spiral of violence. I hitchhiked to Buenos Aires, penniless and with broken wings. Everything that happens in the video is largely a reflection of what I experienced. I hug all those people who are lost and I wish they can find themselves 🫂

OMG this song is making me so happy! I love you CocoRosie, this album is something everyone should play for their daughters. Pure girlhood (not that guys can't like it too)

Found these girls during a really weird/bad time in college, and to this day they bring some comfort into what was a weird/sad time

wow, this is something i can only take out once in a while, beautifully painful and too true for me. I travelled for 11 years, basically around the world in circles running from... and looking for.... myself. I'm glad I've found myself right where I am right now, but, this song is like taking out an old trunk filled with memories.... Not good for me to do everyday! very powerful.
