I bought tickets to the concert months ago at the Luckman performing arts center in Los Angeles. And somebody offered me free tickets to go see Smashing Pumpkins and Jane’s Addiction on the same night. Needless to say, I was torn but for my wife, I got my love for her to make the decision. We went to Jane’s Addiction. it was a good show but I was super bummed about missing CocoRosie. The next morning I remembered that they were playing in San Diego and I did nothing twice about going. I am so glad I went to the show. I got there early and had great seats, or shall I say I had a stand to the entire time. When I first arrived, I was able to see through the front window and saw the girls warming up. When I was standing outside by myself, I did catch a real close glimpse of the band as they walked out into the street and walked across the street, probably back to their hotel room to change. I didn’t have the guts to stop them for a selfie. The camera is an iPhone 13 Promax and it was handheld the entire time. I did not plan to record the entire show but once I started, I didn’t even think through how I would share it online so please forgive my unsteady hand. Besides that, I was actually enjoying the show so sometimes I just wasn’t looking at my camera lol. I did my best to edit the recording to show how good it was. I knew that many of you would appreciate it. I stood next to a couple of guys who mentioned that this venue and performance were way better than the night before which made me feel better about my decision. I know many of us CocoRosie fans love to watch their live performances, and although there are many scattered through the Internet, there are never enough. I was kind of bummed. I never got to meet them. If any of you know them and would like to offer them this original video so they can post it on their site instead I would be glad to help. I do not plan on monetizing this video as I want them to get all the credit. I hope to see them again. If any of you take the time to timestamp the performance with the titles of each song, I will make sure they are highlighted. Thank you again.
