This is no different to the three wheeled pedalled rickshaw found all across India and Bangladesh 10 years ago, only difference is that one guy on the front used to pull the rickshaw rather than from the back.

I think they were really stupid turning Touka's offer down. He has offices in London they could have used.

The end bit *'he has offices in London they found have used'* is a joke about how he always mentions and boasts about his offices and talks about how they're just empty space and he wants some people to use them up and offers them to the entrepreneur to make his offer more enticing. He uses that as a tactic to get entrepreneurs to choose him.

When jenny writes in her notepad she isn't writing notes about the business, but she is writing excuses that she could use to declare herself out.

We've had electric rickshaws that go up and down Oxford Street since the 2000s, you know why they only stay on Oxford Street? It's because it's the only damn place in London where you can find people (or tourists) frivolous enough to ride on them. And they're empty half the time.

In all fairness, no one knows how to "properly" valuate a business. At the end of the day it just comes down to what someone will pay for it and typically that amount will be a mix of where the business is at, what its currently doing and reasonable projections in the immediate future.

I nearly got jenny to invest in me once, i had 500,000 customers worldwide each spending £10 a week, i offered her a 50% share for £10.55p, after deliberating for an hour she agreed it was worth the risk....then i slipped up by telling her whilst i was on holiday trecking up the amazon i met a man living in a mud hut who did not like my product, and for that reason she was out...biggest mistake i ever made.

Tukar had the right idea. Bikes are much faster than any other form of transport in a city like London, but commuters can't afford to wait if a cyclist isn't available exactly when they need it. But transport of medium-size items in a timely manner would add huge value for many retailers and other businesses.

That would be like saying Ubereats isn't crazy because people need more exercise and many deliverers cycle when in reality both this and that mostly help people to not do exercise.

They have negative PR in the UK. Basically extortion for clueless tourists. They will charge them 100s of £ for just a ride down the road. Place like London/Manchester have decent public transport. Rickshaws not much loved by commuters. They cause all sorts of havoc.

I am from the Netherlands and I see those bikes all the time. They are being used by a company that follows Toukers businessmodel, they are a green delivery service that delivers the same day usually for businesses.

Last time I was in London, I remember they had subways. They were pretty fast and quite cheap. I can’t think of a reason someone would actually use one of these unless they just wanted a fun ride through the park or something.

They lost me around 4 min with the Poncho idea. Was better to design some sort of retractable cover or even provide riders with some sort of a solid umbrella. However this could be great for Uber Eats and other delivery apps.

Not really dear , if they reject an offer, the dragon can make another offer, so when they say they are out it means that the dragon will not make another offer, i think if you watch more video you will see how much offered are made, rejected and got negotiated.

Thailand and Cambodia are also full of motorbike taxis. They are on just about every street corner. Hop on the back, tell them where you want to go and pay $1-2 for the trip.
