​@@mio2540No buddy... we never do that, even in tailwind. He probably has some knots above the vref + additive. But i wouldn't recommend to do that, you can always go around as long as the reverses are not deployed.

On CRJ they recommend at 100. Too high in my view too even when I flew it. I saw one chap chop it at 100ft at Sea Level and it dropped like a rock

It's a CRJ700/900 and is a bit fast, maybe due to weather conditions, therefore the early idle thrust. Perfect landing.

CRJ (Canadian Tegional Jet) is the aircraft type in question CRJ-100/200 is one type with a different series as variant. CRJ 700/900 is another type rating which represents a slightly more advanced,larger series. The parent company is Bombardier (BD) which is a Canadian company.I am a former Pilot of the CRK100/200 series(2009) but am also familiar with the CRJ 700/900/1000. Any aircraft, be it Airbus ,Boeing, Dornier or CRJ(referred to by type rather than Aircraft company like Airbus or Boeing) just like ERJ (,Embraer 145 series) or ATR 42/72 series (EADS-ATR) produce Operations Manuals, Aircraft Flight Manuals, and Flight Crew Training Manuals for their specific type. Standard Operating Procedures are detailed in the AFM regarding how the specific Aircraft and its variants should be flown ..such as in this case when to reduce thrust/power to idle during the Flare. For some it might be 30 or 20 feet. This CRJ 100/200 model interestingly recommends it at 100ft which is rather high for most jets I know including the Airbus, Boeing ,757/767 I have flown. This is to prevent floating as it gas a high approach speed dye to lack of slats. For the ERJ which also has no slats and equally high approach speeds it recommends reducing toward runway threshold crossing speed of Vref(minimum reference speed for landing) at 50 ft thresh hold crossing height. In the video the co pilot reduced the thrust at 100 feet as per the required procedure. Alles klar, mein Freund?
