a beautiful Island...I used to live here...with my wife who is from here...I'm an American and she is a true Spaniard...originally from Madrid...Now we reside in Florida...We love it here too but we are going back to Palma..

Minimums has nothing to do with landing clearance , but just you need the required visual references to land otherwise it’s a go around The clearance can even be received at 50ft without any issue

The PF briefed the app for the wrong runway (it should have been for 24R). Sudden change of plans (just like landing rwy) shall take special attention from the flight crew.
