The newer, female "Doc" is a separate character from the original...it's meant to be the original Doc's niece.
My only bug with this set is that I would have preferred three in the pack rather than two. Mine arrives tomorrow.
Nice review Kyle! This Valkyrie two pack is bad ass! The articulation, sculpt, accessories and overall look of these figures are awesome. Picked up two packs, might keep my 👀s open for a third 🤔.

I’m a loose collector but I do display the box’s so I liked the plastic free box’s and the little footlocker with the characters name on it better then the window box’s (there boring and cheap looking) but I get it if you don’t open your figures you would want the window packaging and the weapons don’t get warped as much when there vacuum sealed in to the tray
I picked up 2 packs myself but Hasbro only sent the one and a message stating that my order was fulfilled. After receiving the one pack, i am disappointed by all the reuse at that price. I love this line but Hasbro continues to sour my experience with shipping mistakes or availability issues. I can't understand how an exclusive sells out before it is released! I can understand being put on a wait list while more is being produced, but sold out on preorder. What is the point of putting a limit on the quantity that can be ordered if the item isn't going to be made readily available to order more in the future? I don't support HasLabs and i am slowly losing my patience with the exclusives 😵
Love the set already without having it in hand yet. But they should have kept the gear all black. Not this mustard color. Now you make 1 the officer and then if you get a second pack you feel like you got an extra officer incognito. Think the only remedy is getting 3 packs. But I don't want to build a army of female troopers when I want to field just platoons. Don't have the space for bigger and bigger sizes of units.

I also grabbed two sets of the Valkyries and think they look pretty good! I got 2 (of my 3) Snow Serpents today and those are fantastic! Combined with my two Arctic BATs and Snow Job is gonna have a bad time!
I want this set but live in Holland it never was here in the import shops. So secondary market ebay insane prices. Man I wish Europe wouldn't get the shaft every single time GI Joe wise, they haven't been in stores since the first live action movie, only import shops.
I just got mine. Pretty cool set.
I am buying TWO of all b.a.t.s, Troopers, Officers, faceless no names, etc. I feel that will do the job as an army 😏

The 25th Anniversary line did have a five pack which had 4 greenshirts and a recolored Firefly. They were reused parts but the 80's line did reuse parts so not surprising. There is the Steel Corps two pack on preorder from Amazon. I got it since I never had the Steel Brigade mail away figure as a kid.

I ordered 2 of the steel brig pack. Might do a 3rd just to even the odds vs all the Cobra troopers and Vipers I got. But then again I want to save some space if they decide to do the Grunt figure in a more army build friendly manner. Because some said that he is army buildable but I can't look past that name plate on the front.

@@dgray3771 I pre ordered 1 of the Steel Corps 2 packs since I never had the mail away figure as a kid. Apparently there were some stands on Hasbro Pulse with arm for action poses or flying. I don't see them now.
Some very good figures, what I like the least is the yellowish color of the weapons and straps of one of the figures, but in general I like them a lot yeeeaaah maaaximooo like and greetings Kyle maaaximooo

Not a fan myself, a lot of other colors would have worked better imo.
Girl Doc is his daughter. She took over for him and took his name.

What a huge, and I mean huge missed opertunity for this two pack of ladies to have been numbered ... wait for it .... 69. Goodnight everyone.
I think it's weird that these things sold out after they started shipping. It's like the people was waiting on somebody to review the figures first.
The tan color choice ruined it for me. Would have bought 2 sets if the straps were all black. Easy pass.

It does stand out but I can look past it having 2 packs. 1 will be the sgt the other a regular trooper. Then my officer is the genuine officer while the trooper is the male sgt and the rest are infantry. Total of 10 blue fellas and galls making a fine platoon.
