Panic attack, for those wondering why the guy on chorus sounds so bad. He talked about it at a show in Dallas years ago. He said he was super nervous beforehand, and when he butchered the first chorus, he went into a full meltdown and felt like he was gonna pass out from hyperventilating. from the first time William sang I knew it was all downhill from there. my guy sounded like trash and in his first chorus he actually fucked up the tempo and the drummer had to fix it. kinda sad. he wasn't backing the mic away for "effect".

Who exactly? Cobra Starship, The Academy Is..., Gym Class Heroes, or The Hush Sounds? Cause Cobra Starship is an actual group, but the only singer that was on stage during this performance that is a permanent member of Cobra Starship is former Midtown bassist and lead vocalist Gabe Saporta. Personally I desperately want an "The Academy Is..." reunion tour...

First, they are in a hurry. 2nd William is a good vocalist. See other performances with this song. The 3rd one is completely with a failure, because very loud instruments.

It definitely wasn't William's best performance, but he's an incredible vocalist. There was a shit ton of crap going on with the sound and just on stage in general. (That was one small ass stage for all that shit going on!)

Uhh what was going on with William that night he couldn’t hit any of the notes and threw the whole tempo off. I’ve heard some pretty bad live performances, this was just sad.

The guy from Academy Is was having a panic attack. Talked about it afterwards. He couldn't hit his chorus so Gabe had to try to salvage it but he can't hit that high note.

I guess without studio autotune, they're bad lol. Sounds like a drunk Karaoke at the local pub on a Friday night 🤣
