I put shims in my serpent cobra and it works just fine after that. Seems that the most serpents truggys has this problem

Bone dry just like i commented in your previous video smh had the same issue in my center diff absolutely no oil. Glad you got it resolved bro 💪

The flanged bearings on the diff wear out often, my buddys serpent had that too on a track day. Now i have 4 of these flanged bearings bought as spares

Yea since I had this truggy I've changed the flange bearing twice. I have a hand full of them now. It seems to me that on 6S and driven hard like a Arrma Talion 6S the flange bearings don't like it. You have to drive with some sense.

Nice that A Main took care of you, so did you go through the other diffs and check them for oil? What oil weight did you put in them as well?

Yea they were empty. I put 30k in front and rear. And 60w in rear shocks.

I’m dealing with that crackling in both diff. Very annoying, I didn’t really kno where it was coming from so I replaced the gears and added shims to the front I also added shimms on the rear but no new gears and still hear it so I ordered a new rear diff. Be here in a week.

You added shims to this vehicle? Manufacture doesn't place shims on this vehicle and by the book, I found that it uses Flange bearings. That fixed all the issues.

Shit just bought this, should I take the car apart before running to check for fluid? Thanks for the video brother

I would check. After this happen to me. I was critized about not checking fluids and doing a car full inspection. For the amount of money we buy these things for one would assume that those issues would have been resolved but not unfortunately.

what size for the flange ball bearing...im also get same problem today

I just ordered the factory flange bearing from Serpent 🐍. I gave them a call and they helped.

flange bearing size is 8x14x4

@@TheAiya84 actually no, I have ran it at a local outdoor track and raced it in events. The flange bearing is holding up. I was nervous though because it's a specific design element on this truck. You can't use any ole bearing.

What's the center diff fluid wt ?

Yea I usually don't have this issue with Arrma's or Traxxas vehicles even kits. But I been having a stroke of bad luck with these other brands like Corally. Plus parts are harder to find for cars like these in my area. I got lucky that my hobby shop that's an hour away had some.
