COBRA F8 HYBRID AND ONE LENGTH HYBRID
Mark Crossfield and Dan do some real testing on course and with dry ball data to show what these two hybrids could do for your golf game. The F8 and Cobra One Length hybrids will appeal to different golfers looking for a easy to play hybrid to replace those harder to hit long irons.

Mark, you have set the standard for club testing videos. You've really told me everything I want to know about these clubs. Good Job!
Thank you Mark and Dan for all these fantastic videos on your club testing. Nothing better than the on course testing with the numbers from your indoor testing as well. These videos are a breath of fresh air. Thanks for all your hard work!
Excellant format, great mix of testing and playing. Can't really beat this, especially the priceless look on Dan's face on the last green.
Mark, you do “odd person” brilliantly! And that is 100% a good thing.
I like Dan. I'm glad he's become a regular fixture on reviews etc. You guys really work well together and it's great to get another pro's opinion at the same time.
Informative review, with numbers, with real course testing, AND has a light-hearted approach. I may not be the longest follower of your content, Mark (6-8 months), but man am I a fan of it. Keep up the awesome work bruh!

I've been debating for a while to go with a mixed bag of one length irons in 5-6-7 than standard for the rest and now this one length hybrid really makes me want to try it. Another great review by you both
Great review, again! The one length hybrid has definitely got my attention. Can't wait to give it test in February.
Great review guys. Very informative with the on course and studio tests. Can you do this format in future?
Can’t wait to try It! Already have my f8 irons and driver and threewood. Need a 2 hybrid so I’m gonna test these!
Great review, and really like that you've started doing these with Dan. He's class!
The F Max 4 hybrid Dan sold me is the nicest hybrid I've ever hit . The 19 degree is next on the shopping list !
Love the review with you and Dan. Good stuff!
love these on course reviews with Dan, the one length hybrid looks great
Preordered the one length even before this video, makes me feel even better about my purchase
Interesting review , the interaction with Dan is really good.
Fantastic real world review chaps. I carry 2 and 3 hybrids at the moment (using the 3 to replace 3 and 4 irons). Having these clubs the length of a 7 iron can only improve consistency. Definitely food for thought.
Great review guys. Well done on the win Dan!
Well done, you two! Cheers Dan! Happy Christmas to you both and to clan Parfield
Definitely feeling the on the course equipment reviews.
I use Cobra F7 max one length irons and after watching this video I went out and tested and bought the f8 cobra one length 4 hybrid and love it. I have found I am so much more consistent and confident that I am going to hit it down the centre of the fairway.
Great review again Mark! Can’t wait for the F8 one lengths In store! Greetings from South Africa
Great video, one length makes so much sense to me, I must go and try them. Merry Christmas to you and your families, from Sunny Forster,NSW Australia
What a great review. Vid put together nicely. Felt honest and real world. 👍
Great video. I'm looking forward to trying the one length hybrids and irons, as I'm considering making a change as my game has become very inconsistent at the moment.
Love the one length concept! Will buy! 😃
Brilliant test as always. I loved the F7 last year and would absolutely love to try the one length F8 hybrid please.
That one length looks awesome! That shorter length hybrid with the same distance is a win win in my eyes. Gutted I've just bought the new ping g400 hybrid. I would have been all over those. Great review lads👏👍
I'd try those.. Already on sterling OL irons. Looking forward for these OL hybrid
Love the real play reviews!! Very different to computers!
I played the One Length irons for several months and my favorite club was the 5I. I have ordered a One Length 5H to put in the bag as soon as it is released.
I have played one length and like mark i could happily play a one length hybrid with a standard set.
I play the Pinhawk Single Length Hybrids in a mixed set. P-7 in a standard configuration, then a 6, 5 and 4 single length hybrid at 7 iron length. Works well for me, been getting more consistency from my longer irons. However my 4 does go about 5-10 yards shorter than a full length hybrid, so I also game a regular length 4hybrid as well. Love your review, i'll be definitely checking out the Cobra Single Length Hybrids.
I hit the one length at a demo day recently and loved it, i'm considering one length irons, be whether I go one length or progressive length I would have no problem putting the one length hybrid in the bag.
Best reviewer on KZread for sure keep it up bruh
Brilliant review! The hybrid bottoms remind me of the Orlimar trimetal clubs from the 90's.
Another good video keep up the fantastic work mark.
I totally agree with what you two are saying with regards to the single length 4 iron, they just don't spin and trajectory is low and lots of distance drop off, tbh I get this with the 5 iron also. I changed my grips to the jumbomax and now seeing better flights and more distance.
I think I do odd person quite well. I’ll second that. Great real situation test guys. Get up Dan. In score this time not height. Lovely vid.
That One Length Hybrid could become a serious weapon from 190-220 yet also from the fringe (bump and runs)!!! I like it!
I just ordered one of these One Length Hybrids in to try :)
Loving Dan in the videos. Thanks Mark
Great review. Playing the F7 one length, I would love to add an F8 one length hybrid!
Can't wait to see you do the new 1 length irons as according to marketing they've allegedly fixed the distance loss. Cheers bruh love this review (ON COURSE REAL WORLD ACTUAL GOLF STYLE) format.
Great test as usual guys, I would love to test the 1 length clubs and the hybrid looks like a great addition. Would still only use 6 to hybrid tho, 8 to PW is just madness. When is the 1 length Driver coming out 😁😁😁
Loved the review and it's so intriguing to use the one length with normal length clubs! Agree re. the grey finish on the normal length one not being as appealing.
VERY interesting addition to the one-length concept. I'm going to try the one length irons, and would go hybrid 4 instead of iron for sure (100mph driver clubhead). I would use the same shaft in the hybrid as I do in the irons for even more consistency. @danhendriksengolf is a FANTASTIC addition @markcrossfield
You and Dan doing these equipment reviews is just superb. Love the combination of inside and outside, really is working. BTW I'm looking at getting some Mizuno CLK hybrids in January, any chance of a review before then?
Love Cobra hybrids. I switched to Mizuno JPX 900 this season from Fly-z line and I’m now not hitting them nearly as well. Love mizzy clubs but but just hit the Cobra hybrids better. I’ll give the mizzy a little more range time before switching back though.
Thanks for the videos Mark. Just back from testing like for like cobra F8 hybrids. Both were 22 degrees with regular shaft, but one was the one length and the other was the standard grey head model. For me the length of shaft had an overriding effect with the standard length club flying around 10-15 yards longer than the one length. GC2 was backing this up with consistent differences in ball speeds but flight, feel and consistency was good in both :-) Wondering if anyone else is getting the same as this would impact the gapping strategy
I’ve got F7 hybrid. I like the rails, as my course is extra hilly and you rarely get a good lie. Must say I don’t like that plastic look finish. Love the on course testing. Well done.
I am going to try this one length iron.
Great review guys, I've banged my wife's Mizuno 4 hybrid on the range a number of times, it's the same length as my 7 iron but flys 200 yards with ease, after seeing this I'm wondering if I should steal it!
Play normal length clubs and always had issue hitting hybrids - have probably tried 10+ of them. The one length is the first hybrid I feel comfortable over. Only hit it in a golf dome, but I'm seeing great results. I'm 5 foot 6 and hitting a hybrid like an iron never felt good as I had to hit down on it, but because of the length of the club I could never find consistency/comfort doing so.
I can see some value in a one length around the greens. Should be interesting to test.
I tried out the one length really liked but didn’t hit the long irons well End up gaming the misses hybrids 5-6 and hit them a dream I just been fitted for some irons and definitely feel I could one length hybrid if it performs well Will 100% be testing it out
I went Cobra one length last year. Was the right thing for me.
Thank's great vid👍
Great review.
Just been fit for the 25 deg that replaces my 5 iron perfectly
I've been playing Cobra Forged One 4-LW all season and my distances pretty much matched my normal set. The 4 iron might drop off a bit more on poor strikes but it's otherwise pretty close. I have standard 23° and 19° Cobra hybrids but tend to keep my 4i and 5w in the bag. I'm just not as confident in my hybrid play. I'll probably buy a 23° One Length Hybrid and try it.
The on course testing with Dan really is fantastic stuff.
About 12 years ago I built a set of one length irons from an old set of Powerbilt clubs. It made absolute sense to me, I modified the head weights, and had high hopes, but poor results. I am Very interested in these Cobras.
Dats a win for Dan. Great shots tho guys in that wind.
Im with you Mark really think i could put that in my standard set i have a gap between my 5 iron 175yard (ping g) and my current hybrid aeroburner 22 degree 200yard think it would sit well between the 2 and give me the height
Love my one length Cobras but agree that the 4 iron is a bit harder to hit. Having the 1 length 4 iron will definitely be a plus. Probably will go with the 3 and 4 hybrids.

Bill how are you finding the wedges, any change to your set up? Are you gripping down for half shots. Opening stance etc ? Just got myself some f8 one length's, wedges taking some getting used to. Cheers
Dan's pre shot routine is perfect
Fantastic!
I am buying 1 length clubs. I would love to try this club.
You and Dan work well together
I think I need to test the one length!
I'm not a fan of the one length. Love cobra products not a fan of the Gray definitely line gloss black better. So I would like normal f8 in black. Keep up great work mark love your vids happy holidays
Played a few rounds with both the F7 and Forged 1 length's. Forged where much nicer to use, the 4 iron was an issue just getting it up in the air compared to my normal 4 blade was problematic. I also found the 4 was next to impossible to shape shots with. Just didn't seem to have the time to wrap the face around the ball for a draw.
brilliant video. I'm chomping at the bit to give the one length clubs a go. I'm about 80% sold on the concept, just want to get the feel of them. Question - would it be better for club head speed to get graphite shafts versus steel on a one length?
Here's a thought for you Mark .. the one length version, but 1/2 inch longer shaft for those not into one length irons. Possibly a good 'winter' club for those of us who prefer long irons and don't like hybrids but are slushing around in the mud this time of year? thoughts?
Hi Mark. Love the reviews. Not sure how it is in England, but in the States we’re starting to see Honma and XXIO making its way into stores here. I’ve seen those brands in Asia for years. Would you do a review of these clubs. I’d like to see how they compare to our top “western” brands.
Helped me on my search.
You do 'do odd person' quite well :)
I could see myself using the one length. My current 4h isn't that long so using it around the greens to pop a shot on isn't that tough but, the one length would make that just a bit easier.
I’m a big fan of the F-8 one length hybrid.
One length isn't for me, but enjoyed watching the review of the two clubs.
would love to try them, Send me one!! I like you don't like the look of the gray. It does look cheap. I play the F7's standard length and love them, I'm trying to find a 2-3 Hybrid to add to the bag, not having much luck. Keep up the great work! Love the vlogs!
I use the one length irons and love them but my set is 5-gw so I'm buzzing to get hold of this hybrid 👌

@@zenex1741 you definitely don't want to b do that. Woods and driver are a whole different animal. The returns are diminishing in that space.
You need to try bump on runs with the one length around the greens Mark. It must provide excellent results due to the control with the 7 iron length.
I would try one length hybrids and irons. Seems like a great concept IF you can get them properly fit for gapping - to me that is where Cobra is failing on this one, they need to get true fitting available to all players so they can see the benefits.
I’m in the market for a new hybrid I play the ping i200 but the thought of sticking a one length hybrid intrigues me
id be curious to try them
You should give one club from the single length set to a double bogey golfer. Have him train with it until he hits it solid and then let him play a round with the full set including the hybrid. That would be an interesting test...
I am playing my 3&4 iron less, as my driver, 3w & 5w are going well, but reviews like this really make wonder if 2 hybrids could replace the the 2 irons and the 5w, Mark, your thoughts?
If they do the one length in a 3 hybrid I will probably give this a test and get it in the bag even though the rest of my clubs are standards lengths
I have the F7 19 degree in my bag now and it is one of the best clubs I've ever used. Rough, no problem, fairway, no problem, off the tee box, no problem. Just a great club. I get the unattractiveness of it to some but god if it works, who cares whether it looks ok or not. IT WORKS
Great review, I've been waiting for the one length hybrid review I think I'd be that person whowould have the one length hybrid as I struggle sometimes with mine
Maybe that one length feels like a wedge because of the smooth turf interaction caused by the rails mimicking the larger bounce of a wedge.
I have the one length irons and I plan on buying the hybrid when available.

Ron Rund , I also have single length pinhawk hybrid irons 4 through pw. I bought mine on line at Hireko Golf.com. Pinhawk also comes as a single length iron, the same swing weight, length and lie as the hybrids. Recently, I bought a Pinhawk pw and 9 iron. So far they have met my expectations. Of course Pinhawks are not Cobras but then again they are much more reasonably priced. sold on line at Hireko Golf.com
Just a question here, I play to a decent standard (5 handicap) however a few people have told me that I could be better if I sorted 2 problems in my swing being a slightly bent left elbow at impact and an extremely disconnected right elbow at the top of my swing. Should I change or should I keep doing what I'm doing?
Interested by having a short club which is odd but given that it’s a utility does it offer more flexibility than a standard length ?
These one length clubs - can you choose the length or is it always 7 iron length? I'd give it a go for sure, but I hit my regular hybrid pretty well so I'm not sure what advantage the one-length might have. so yes, I'd try one if for no other reason than curiosity.
The one length hybrid must be brilliant for the "hybrid chip"
You going to be testing the new one length and standard f8 irons ?
Mark are you doing on course with the F8 irons and single length?
