I am diving into part two of my COBB Tuning mods for Buttercup! This time around, I'm excited to install the cob air intake. We'll go over the specs and compare it to the stock setup. The cool thing? This intake is legal everywhere, even in Cali. It fits 2.3L and 2.7L Broncos (except for Everglades), and offers a bigger filter with interchangeable Box Tops. I opted for practicality, choosing the air dam for off-roading protection and the polycarbonate window for easy filter checks. The install was a breeze, and I'm excited to test out the performance gains.

The Rousch filter has the same see through panel to see the filter. The K&N though flows more air according to testing.
You need to push Cobb to release their tune for the Broncos!!!!

Yes but I also have bov adapter, but it is louder now!
I have seen a lot of tests showing the oiled filter allows significantly more dirt through than the paper ones. The higher restriction means the paper ones are filtering out more particulates.
Does it need a tune to run it safely?

Nope - ready to run with the factory calibration! Although we can't wait to see what they'll do with an Accessport and a tune.

You don’t need a tune, but having one will increase your tunes capabilities. I received much more torque and power running this with my current tune :)
