Whoever designed the visuals for this game should be hired more often, love it.

A 2nd edition to the classic game. Never owned this one, but watched videos back in the day. Going to watch this now!

Great playthrough! Looks like a fun game, inspired me to track down the original.

Glad the rules and gameplay elements were not changed from the original edition; only the art and component materials appear to have changed. The gameplay is timeless and provides at least a little abstracted sense of the effort needed and challenges faced during this period of history.

I like the flow of this one. Seems like you really need to manage the balance of getting and delivering.

Love the gameplay for this one. Balancing the mines is an interesting wrinkle. I wish obtaining money was a bit more involved but it doesn't detract from the game too much. Very much considering snagging this one

Thanks for the play thru and for showing what looks to be a very busy game is actually quite simple to understand and play! Planning your actions seems a little like playing chess. You pretty much have to plan several moves in advance to not only maximize your turn actions, but to also Aquire enough goods to fulfill the orders, in just the right way so as to be able to gain those majority bonuses at the end of each round. That makes this a tall thinky game!

Not lining up the cart tracks when placing tiles made me twitchy...

Hey John, any chance you will be doing a play-through of the new Monster Hunter Board game?

I just wish it wasn’t so pricey for the “deluxe” version.

Great video as always Jon, though this game felt a bit too bland for my tastes unfortunately. ... I will say that when you placed those tiles next to the player boards the art on them was _ever so slightly_ out of alignment with the art on the boards and this irrationally annoyed me a great deal. This is by no means a serious complaint, just my OCD acting up lol.

Hopefully that misalignment will be rectified in the final version, glad you enjoyed the video.

Really nice job of that explanation. A pretty solid use of regular, well known mechanics, though I wonder if the theme will discourage some gamers?
