He can’t split time he can really do that. That’s my belief on why he’s leaving because Colorado seems to be going by the running back by committee approach which means everybody’s going to be split carries so they may not get more then 10 to 15 cal each hell Charlie might even get eight or nine per game which I think he should be on scholarship because what he shows in practice he’s a dog

As the mom of multiple athletes and one in college right now, I would never advise my kid to hop because they didn’t get the number one spot. You gotta earn it. At the end of the day, your coach wants to win and trust me if you are really balling out you’ll play.

But this not that type situation and times are different. Both of these RBs were there last year. Alton was hurt last year but is the clear cut better overall RB. It’s been a lot of reported favoritism coming from Prime and also the RB Edwards who is the starter has known Prime and his family since a kid 🧐. I think we forget Alton was the rookie of the year as a true freshman. In todays world of sports you better take your career into your own hands and go where you will play and have a better shot to get to the NFL bcus that’s exactly what Prime is doing with his kids.

As a former D1 athlete, i understand what you are saying here. However, it is sometimes better to be the big fish in a small pond than the small fish in a big pond. If ones goal is to make it to the next level, they must be getting playing time and be seen. As an athlete you really have a small window of time (4-5 years) to show this. Transferring does seem weak, and also seems like it doesn't teach him that he needs to fight hard for what he wants, but you have to think about your possible future. Its a 50/50 shot here. Hopefully he fulfills his dreams at another school

Wow. Come on parents. So if your child is favored over others, you have no problem with it or the other parents complaining about favoritism. I get it. Its not favoritism if its your child. 🤔 interesting. Wait until you work a career job and someone gets promoted over you. This is life. Moving on might not fix it but its worth a try.

It’s called life. Ain’t nothing about it fair. If you’re not starting or playing it’s on you the player. I went from walk on - transfer - D2 - Europe. It was a tough road, but it was fair. I didn’t get burn or scholarships because I wasn’t good enough. When i promised myself it would never happen again all of it changed. Your job as an athlete is to make yourself soo good that you look foolish not playing me. If you gave me 1 min I played that 1 minute like it was the NCAA tourney. Alto is a beast and I was hoping to see him this year, but if he’s that guy he will show and prove. My belief why he’s leaving is Welch. That kid won’t be denied.

Now he is going to his 3rd school. He must not understand that the NFL is about blocking and doing what the coaches say. I do not see him making the NFL unless he really changes his perspective on life. Seem really like a fake person. He left Houston and now CU...what's next and I am sure he will leave that program too. He is not a super fast or big or elusive guy or powerful guy and he has already had an ACL. This is silly.

Hate to say it and being honest Alto was damaged goods anyway he never fully got back to what he used to be. He wasn't ready last year (his words) and looked better and somewhat ready to go this year in practice. But guess what Dillion and Micah aside walk on Charlie O who's been on the team before Deion came (pause) been looking like a beast in practice lately. So to think Alto would be Rb1 is crazy. He gotta earn that spot like everyone else. If you ask me Charlie looking better than anyone in that Rb room but he won't be Rb1 and as Deion said he's not complaining 🤷🏾‍♂️ again just my opinion.

Oregon coach has done nothing but keep the boat afloat at Oregon. Nobody speaks about him because nobody in the college football world cares. Oregon runs the same system every year no matter who the coach is, Nike does the recruiting for the school. What on earth do you think he would do with a 1-11 program. Would he make the school 10x the money they were making previously? Would he impact enrollment and help set a record for applications? Would he increase the revenue for the whole city of builder. Here is a hint someone just did.
