The Maryland player's arm was out well before the Ohio State player was near her and the Ohio State player just ran right into it. So no way would I call that on Maryland.

Gotta be the first legitimate case of "I tried stopping them by hitting their arm with my face" I've ever seen.

100% agree. That’s just boxing out followed by the Ohio St player initiating forceful contact. Not even close.

My thoughts exactly. The Maryland player did not fling her arm into the Ohio State players face. I think she was moving towards the hoop for a rebound and her eyes were looking up at the ball and then there was contact.

You are obviously not a referee. I am. No way wasn't he Maryland player vertices. They missed that one. It happens. Didn't cost Ohio State the game. They played like 💩.

He was being a little baby because he was losing. Allie Kubek actually got jaw jacked and Coach Frese handled it like a champ.

Maybe don't just run into someone's arm that they have out for several seconds like a blind squirrel and you won't get hit in the mouth.

    # 32 ran into #13. It wasn't even close. If anything 32 should be called for diving. It's sad to see the Ohio State coach be so dramatic when he knows perfectly well his player dived. Announcers, I hope you get paid well for going along with the charade. Broadcasters, you're not fooling anyone. This is why sports (pros & college, men & women) are unwatchable. It's theater not competition.

Women's Basketball needs to stop being so soft. Maybe they should wear helmets. That is not a foul. These coaches are ridiculous for wanting players to get fouls and be ejected over incidental contact. The fouls need to be called on the flops. Women's Basketball is mostly a stunt show... There's no circle under the basket so that encourages people to get right under the basket and flop! It also penalizes athleticism. A player can make a strong move to the basket but someone can slide right in and flop right under the basket. That was not a foul. He would've been pissed if the shoe was on the other foot and they called a foul on one of his players because someone ran into her...
