The bee was so concerned, he tried to move the camera out of the way. Unfortunately when he realized it weighed hundreds of thousands of times more than him, he abandoned the plan and took off. (If anyone was wondering what the bee was doing)

during this entire thing i could only imagine how cold and in pain his hands are from the C02 cartridge like holy

We used to pump it up with a needle and a bike bump. Without any water, the bottles would blow up. When we did the Dasani water bottles it legit sounded like a gun being shot x2

Me and my brother cut the stem out of bike tires and drilled a hole in pop bottle caps would pump them up with air and shoot them with a b gun when we where kids pretty fun back then lol

When my kids were about 9 & 12, we home schooled them & one Saturday I decided to give them a science lesson on the power of an expanding gas. I got a 2 liter soda bottle, filled it up with hot water about half way, then dumped about a cup of crushed dry ice inside, screwed the lid on, & had my kids & myself watch from around the corner of the house about 25 feet away. Just then a guy came to my front door trying to sell my wife science encyclopedias. She told him her husband was perfectly capable of teaching the kids science & in fact was giving them a lesson right now. Just then the bottle exploded. I'd never done that before & I had no idea that it was going to be that strong. That was the loudest explosion I've ever heard, & I've used plenty of M80s in my past. That bottle vaporized. None of us could find any scrap of plastic anywhere. Where it sat on the brick walkway was a circular watermark, but directly under the bottle it was dry. My ears were ringing. Back to the guy at the front door. Just as my wife finished telling him that I was teaching the kids a lesson, the bottle exploded, & my wife said the guy's eyes about bulged out of his head, then he turned & walked away. My kids thought it was pretty cool, but I was wondering if my neighbors had called the police. Guess not... fortunately! - DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME -

I’m homeschooled and I put vinegar and baking soda let the 2L bottle become a basketball and shot it with the pellet gun and had me scared someone thought it was a gun shot 😂 don’t try this I guess

another diy thing, but it was myself doing it (a couple years ago), was i worked out how to make HHO gas by splitting water. dumbass me decided to attach a hose from it into a tiny mixture of water and detergent, and light the bubbles (and without hearing protection). i was thinking "like the highschool hydrogen pop test but bigger" because I wanted to know if I actually made hydrogen. it sounded like a gunshot and made my ears ring afterwards. it was literally the loudest thing I've heard in my life.

Many moons ago when I was and apprentice plumber, working for a builder, I was installing a water feed for a private in indoor pool and garden glass atrium. I was soldering copper tube, in between welds I had place my Oxy Acetylene torch in the dirt, but it was very wet and the torch was not turned off tight, when I went to do my next weld I found about 2 litres of foam had formed on the ground in the mud, thinking it was pure acetylene I lit my torch and waved it over the foam thinking it would burn off like a gas cook top, but the explosion went off like a double barrel shotgun, it left a large crater in the garden bed, with my ears still ringing I dusted myself off and assessed my surroundings. thinking it wasn't bad and there was not much dirt around me, when I went to clean up the dirt on the path around the explosion, but then I looked up to realise that brand new glass ceiling above the pool was caked in mud over the swimming pool. I finished the job as fast as I could and got the F@#k outa there

Eh, even plastic is nothing to sneeze at. I've gotten a pretty nasty laceration from a pressurized soda bottle exploding in my hands. Nota bene: PET bottles are *NOT* pressure vessels!

A friend and I were experimenting like this as children and when he tapped the co2 it flew into my temple. Hurt pretty bad... But it easily could have hit my eye so I was glad to have only a bruise while keeping my vision.

One of the most amazing things I saw as a child was the total destruction of a park toilet when you drop an m80 into the water. Because the water does not compress and the fragility of the porcelain, the whole toilet was obliterated. We did not know at the time that it would cause such damage. And yes, we were horrible kids and every time something bad happens to me, I accept it as payback for all the bad shit we did as a kids.
