Creating a country requires land, so you cannot create a country on nothing. Arab countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq didn't attack Israel because it was a Jewish country. Instead, they attacked Israel because it was created on Palestinian homes and land that was taken through violent means including killing and attacking Palestinians. We need to understand that Israel was not created on nothing as Palestine was neither empty nor destitute. Before the 1948 war, Palestinian Christians and Muslims were 90% of the citizens (but two-thirds of the population of Palestine), who owned and operated 93% of Palestine's lands. Before the 1948 war, most Israeli Jews were persecuted and dispossessed European Jews who made a one-third minority of the population and only a third of those had Palestinian citizenship! Before the 1948 war, only a third of the Jews in Palestine were legal citizens of the country. For Israel to become a "Jewish majority" it opted to expel and dispossess the Palestinian majority! Palestinians were erased and replaced in their ancestors' land. 80% of the Palestinian people were dispossessed from their homes, farms, and businesses and have been kept out since 1948. Over 97% of "Israel's lands" (which is mostly owned by Palestinian refugees) is open for development to Jews only. Only one of the 45 Zion!st Jews who sign the Israeli "declaration of independence" on May 14th, 1948 was born in Palestine. The other 44 were mostly Jewish refugees who escaped their anti-Semitic Europe countries, such as Tsarists Russia, Germany, and Poland. @Pathan The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem (Haj Amin al-Husseini) and father of the Palestinian movement got together with Hitler (1941) before the existence of the State of Israel and influenced the Nazis to kill Jews rather than expel them. He plotted for the elimination of Jews in the Middle East which, fortunately, did not happen because Germany lost the war. Al-Husseini eventually escaped the Nuremberg trials in Germany. Creating a country requires land, so you cannot create a country on nothing. Arab countries such as Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Iraq didn't attack Israel because it was a Jewish country. We need to understand that Israel was not created on nothing as Palestine was neither empty nor destitute. Before the 1948 war, most Israeli Jews were persecuted and dispossessed European Jews who made a one-third minority of the population and only a third of those had Palestinian citizenship! Before the 1948 war, only a third of the Jews in Palestine were legal citizens of the country. For Israel to become a "Jewish majority" it opted to expel and dispossess the Palestinian majority! Palestinians were erased and replaced in their ancestors' land. 80% of the Palestinian people were dispossessed from their homes, farms, and businesses and have been kept out since 1948. Over 97% of "Israel's lands" (which is mostly owned by Palestinian refugees) is open for development to Jews only. Only one of the 45 Zion!st Jews who sign the Israeli "declaration of independence" on May 14th, 1948 was born in Palestine. The other 44 were mostly Jewish refugees who escaped their anti-Semitic Europe countries, such as Tsarists Russia, Germany, and Poland. Just before the 1948 war, Jews owned under 7% of Palestine's land, and to increase their share after the war, they passed the "Absentees' Law" which dispossessed the Palestinian majority land owners who later became "absent". So, Zion!sts asserting historical ties to Palestine does not validate taking homes and land from the Palestinians through violent means including killing and attacking Palestinians. Zion!sts say that they have the right to self-determination. however, this right does not give them the right to take land and homes from Palestinians through violent means including killing and attacking Palestinians. Additionally, the right to self-determination does not give Zion!sts the right to create their country on Palestinian homes and land that was acquired through violent means including killing and attacking Palestinians. Most Jewish religious establishments were anti-Zion!st until Ben Gurion (the founding father of the "Jewish state") bought them off (with money & power over civil courts) after Nakba. The true antisemites are those who turn antisemitism & the Holocaust into weapons to justify oppressing the Palestinians! For example, in 1928, the Palestinian leadership voted to allow them equal representation in the future bodies of the state, despite them being a minority who had barely arrived. The Zion!st leadership rejected this, of course. Even after this, in 1947 the Palestinians suggested the formation of a unitary state for all those living between the river and the sea to replace the mandate to no avail. There were many attempts at co-existence, but this simply would not have benefited the Zion!st leadership who never intended to come to Palestine to live as equals.
