Yes it's a coping style. Trying to say the opposite of what you're really feeling. Also it aggregates the abuser all to heck thinking they really didn't get to you....can also make abuse worse next time tho. I would never cry cos that pleased them. Still have a problem crying but I'm very sensitive.

Why shouldn't she? That's her father, it's not for her to shame and put him on trial for the entertainment of the public. Family matters should be dealt with in private, even for famous people. Families are supposed to deal with and address issues in private. Only Jehovah God can judge any of us. I also think that a lot of misinformation and assumptions has been put out about their Dad and the family based on people's reaction (and the baggage that they might have) to what they have revealed about their family. So, she's careful about how she answered the questions.

@@Kdollzie I NEVER said that things should be swept under the rug, nor did I say any alleged wrong doings are ok. And you're right none of us knows what went on in their family. The only consistent thing was that he whipped them a lot and insisted on them calling him by his name instead of "dad or father". All of them including Latoya have said that that book she wrote was done under duress and was mostly lies mixed with some truth. I knew someone from Gary who lived in their neighborhood and they say that the dad was very strict. I'm not for not dealing with serious issues and wrong doings within families but, it should be done privately with a counselor even with famous people. And none of us are qualified, nor capable of "playing God". Just because some people want to rip him to shreds and defame him based on what they THINK they know; doesn't mean that Janet has to join in to make some happy. We don't know what conversations, confrontations were had between them and him over the years before he passed.

Zovlo God created Lucifer who later became Satan. God created Lucifer to be holy. He was an holy angel. God exalted him more than the other angels, and God allowed him to come close to him. But Lucifer became proud and tried to be equal to God. And he tried to be God and make the other angels worship him. So because of that, Lucifer and the angels who supported him to rebel against God were driven out of heaven. And after that, God created Hell and the lake of Fire. In the Bible, Jesus said that the lake of fire was created for Satan as a place where he and his demons will be punished on Judgment Day. When God created the earth, God wanted all human beings to possess it and rule over it and everything on it. But when human beings began to sin, it was there that God cursed the earth and humanity and brought suffering to this world and handed it over to Satan and no longer in human possession to rule over it. as a punishment for humanity. The Bible said that the earth is given into the hands of the wicked, which is satan and all sinful and evil people. In hell, Satan and demons torture people even though they were on their side by sinning while they were on earth, because they are created in God's image and satan and demons hate them and hate God. We human beings are here to be tested with God's commandments and laws. To see who will comply with them or who will break them. The test is over after death. Those who pass the test by repenting from their sins and have faith in Yahushua (Jesus) will inherit eternal life in heaven and the new indescribable, beautiful, Heavenly earth where there is no longer sorrow, pain, cry, suffering, hunger, thirst, disease and death. Only eternal happiness. God wants us to show that we love him and are looking for him so that he can show us that he is real. While those who failed the test by doing evil, will be thrown into hell after death and will be transferred to the lake of fire on Judgment Day to be destroyed and separated from God forever. But God wants everyone to pass the test so that they can be together with him forever in heaven and the new indescribable, beautiful, Heavenly earth because he loves humanity. But Satan hates humanity and is fighting against humanity to make mankind to fail the test so that God would be angry with all people and send all people to hell and fire. And if you atheists are asking why, can’t God just appear to people even if they do not want to pray to him to show himself to them? Then Christians respond and say why can’t you atheists just pray to him to show himself to you? About the priests that rapes children in his name, they will be punished on Judgment Day. Because in the Bible, Jesus said that it is not all Christians who will enter heaven. Jesus said that on Judgment Day, he will say to many Christians, I never knew you, away from me you evil people. Therefore, those who perform rapes on children in the name of God, will be punished by God for using his name to do evil. Because in the Bible, God warned that no one should use his name for evil purposes. And the Pope is in hell. selena and Michael Jackson and Pope John Paul the second are in hell. One girl said she saw them in hell while two others also said they saw Michael Jackson and other famous people in hell. Repent of your sins and stop sinning and give your life to Yahushua(Jesus), he is the only way to escape hell. Search for (23 hours Dead! Hell and Heaven Testimony (Rapture & Message of God)-Angelica Zambrano) on youtube. Or click on this link to watch the video here m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/qmF72bSpj67WftI.html and hear a girl who said she saw them in hell. During her death experience. And after that, search for (testimony of heaven and hell from gabriel kokou doufle english version 14 hours) on youtube or click on the link to the video here m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/nWeOrNKbddHAhsY.html And hear the testimony of a man, who said from the beginning of the video, that GOD sent angels to him to save him from the idolatry of the Catholic Church. And that the angels took his spirit out of his body and showed him the corruption in the Catholic Church with demons all over the Catholic churches, burying of skulls and many more things that the angels revealed to him things he could not see in his physical body. In 30:40 minutes he said that he saw the pope John Paul the second in hell. Listen to what the pope told him when he was burning and was being tortured by demons. And who has told you that churches do not pay taxes?

Black Beauty hell is real seek everlasting life through Jesus now. Stop listening to Michael Jackson songs and all other secular songs. They lead to hell fire after death. In the bible, in 1 john 2:15-17 there it said: 15Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world-the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world. 17And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God will live forever.

In heaven she said she saw many wonderful things, including the thief who died with Jesus on the cross. Who begged Jesus to forgive him, and whom Jesus promised would be in paradise with him that same day after both of them die. In hell she said she saw Michael Jackson being tortured by demons and was being forced to dance by demons and that when he was tired the demons tormented him, and that Michael Jackson was crying out to Jesus. She said she used to be a Michael Jackson fan when she was younger and thought he was cool. Hear what she said Michael Jackson was telling Jesus, and what Jesus told him in reply, and all the other horrors she saw in hell, As a warning to humanity. Including seeing women in hell who committed abortion while they were on earth and did not repent of it and beg Jesus to forgive them for it, including seeing young people in hell, who disobeyed their parents while they were on earth.

I don’t doubt that Joe was an evil man and a very abusive father. You can just see it, looking at him. Maybe we’ll never know to what extremes but as a survivor too, I guess she will come to terms with things in her own way, in her own time. She seems to be doing well though - she has a baby now, a Las Vegas residency and just been inducted in the the rock and roll hall of fame. She must miss her brother terribly though.

I think that some of the questions the interviewer Piers Morgan had to Janet about her Dad and being a Mom is interesting. I also enjoy listening to Janet voice. I would agree with a few comments made about her soft spoken/proper tone language. She also sounds like she may have a slight accent like Michael. The interviewer Piers Morgan, also sounds like he has an accent too. It sounds British or English. He was a little too personal with Janets past love life. This is something that could be left personal and private. This is more of up close and personal interview on the career and life of a music icon like Michael .

I think Joseph Jackson missed out on being a parent when all he was was a manager and dictator. He messed up the children's heads. And Katherine couldn't help them because he was mean to her too. Very sad. A parent should never be a manager to their children. Parents should just be parents.

Sometimes, though it is rare, parents and grandparents are okay with young ones using their first names. My Mother and my Grandfather was Betty and Melvin. They were fine with this, but grandmother would not tolerate being called by her first name. They were all kind, patient and protective. My father, on the other hand, was always called Daddy. People do things differently, and it is not disrespectful for children to go with the flow.
