CNJ 113 Bouncing and Bobbing to Minersville
On Dec 9th and 10th, CNJ 113 pulled Santa train excursions from Minersville to Schuylkill Haven, and back. Unlike last year, the 0-6-0 is now sporting the iconic "Hershey Bar" number plate, as well as a fresh coat of paint from a recent night photo session that took place in celebration of the locomotive's 100th anniversary.

It’s not the tracks 0-6-0 just do that at speed they have no leading wheels so not best for high speed That’s why they were mostly used for switching

yes its almost at the end of the Minersville branch on rbmn trackage. roughly about 20 miles from port clinton
That track is in absolutely awful condition.

The track is not bad at all. Its just what an 0-6-0 does when its going fast, they tend to bounce and stuff.

Yes lack of pony wheels makes for a very bumpy ride witch is why they where mainly uses switchers

The 0-6-0 is a switcher type locomotive not ment for high speeds so it tends to bounce more than a locomotive built for high speeds, which is why it’s mainly used for short trains and switches
