✅CNC P6: Adjustable Stroke Tattoo Machine❗ Is it a GIMMICK what's the deal❓

Today we take a look at the CNC P6, a tattoo machine that claims you can adjust the stoke of your machine from 3 to 4 mm. I set off to see if this is true or not... or at least if it seems true or not. After trying a liner, shader and a mag I can honestly say that it is not a Gimmick at all. I could deff see running at 3mm for shading and round 4mm to get the color packed in nicely all while using the same machine. With a price point under $200 its hard to bear.
Hope you all enjoyed the video and if you did give it up a thumbs up and consider subscribing!!

I have been tattooing for 15 months now and I've never been inlove with what I do. Tattooing has saved me from a lot of trouble and has brought so much happiness and abundance to my life, I am looking forward for more years to come. The struggle I have is having no one to teach me stuff, since the beginning I've been self-taught and I honestly feel I'd be alot better had I been mentored by someone. That's why I am a consistent viewer of your channel and you've been a lifesaver for me for a lot of times since my first week of tattooing.

I've been in an apprenticeship for 1.5years and tattooing for roughly 4 months (in and out of Covid lockdowns). My biggest problem in tattooing has been internal struggles. Imposter syndrome and anxiety have taken the better of me at times and it's really taken a toll on my self-esteem and confidence. I realise that it's something that I will probably have to work on for the rest of my career, but damn it brings a heap of shadow stuff to the surface very quickly in an "old school" apprenticeship. Discipline, determination and constant learning is what's guiding me forward. Your videos and guides have been a saviour for me and you don't realise how big of an inspiration you are to new artists. You deserve great things and it's brilliant watching your progression, passion and drive. Thankyou! Keep up the great work! Luna

I've been learning for about 4 months this time. Started about 10 years ago and stopped so it's all new again to me. But biggest problem for me is consistency all right now. But on hold for now as my machine capped out on me so have to buy a new one. But will be doing that soon. But as always enjoy the videos and good luck to to whoever wins the machine, and keep doing what you do man. Wouldn't be where I am without your help.

I have been getting tattoos for years, especially during my military time. finally decided one day, about 7 months ago, im going to give this a try. ordered up some cheap POS old school style and started on fake skin and fruit. Bought a dragonhawk mast with just the plugin about a month into it. started investing in ink and watching videos to help get better. I have definitely not come close to reaching my full potential, if i ever will. However i still have issues with the lines sometimes where one line can look like its different size needles being used. I still sometimes go to deep when packing color. But its a work in progress as always. regardless of the give away, I appreciate everything you do and all the help youve been to people such as myself. It is greatly appreciated brother. Im glad I found your videos, not others have helped like yours.

8 months ago, I started getting into tattooing. Quickly I noticed how many people tattoo directly on skin and thereby ruin the skin of their friends. So I started with the basics for 7 months now. Drawing, drawing, drawing.. all the needle configurations, needle depth, hygiene, ink & colors, voltage, machines and equipment, after care, how to set up a workstation, different shading techniques etc. oh and ofc drawing every free minute. With all this knowledge, I ordered 6 kg of reel-skin and will now practice lines, circles and different simple shapes until I'm confident enough to take the next step - shading. My biggest struggle is to be patient and not skip a step :) Love your videos - greetings from Germany

I have been tattooing since I was like 15 off and on but as a legitimate business for just over a year and moved my family my family of 5 children to a different city in order to start my own business and I'm almost 40. Also in my first year I was voted #1 best tattoo shop in Saskatoon by the community. My biggest problem I have is always having to remind myself to slow down and stay consistent. I love your videos and love how you don't get sucked into the shitty side of the industry and let your head blow up and stay humble. Thank you for what you do.

Hi Dave, I been tattooing since 2019. I´m a self-taught person. No aprenticeship, no mentors. Just downloaded books, free courses and valuable tips from a few tattoo artists like you and others from Spain in youtube, for what I´m very grateful. Beginning last year I developed a Dequervain's tenosynovitis on the wrist of my tattoo hand doing some exercises in the gym that has disabled me for over a year. Now I´m taking the machines again to practice on fake skin and on my own flesh (and blood). My major strugle is to make perfect straight lines (don´t ask me for an arrow o geometric figures), and somethimes, make a solid color packing. I think that because I have not yet mastered the needle depth. That adjustable stroke pen look very interesting. I´d like to try it. Greetings. Semper Fi.

I started tattooing as a kid back in 1965,, doing a needle and thread with india ink on myself. When I was in the service, a friend showed me how to build prison style machine. Got out of it for years but then the last years I have really gotten into it again. I currently have a cheap coil machine. I am right handed but I have been trying to use my left for tattooing as well. It's a challenge. Really enjoy your channel. Keep up the great work.

I was about one week until I went back to prison for not finding a job until I asked about tattooing my p.o. said as long as you make money .....so I went all in. Without ur videos I probably wouldn't have gotten way better and equipped. So thank u man sincerely. I still struggle with shading so I'm saving for a bishop Wand hopefully this year.

I got my first gun around 18 years ago and realized it definitely isn't as easy as thought.. i road the struggle bus for about 6 months and decided maybe a apprenticeship would help...... i found a willing retired stat trooper turned tattoo artist "with only one tattoo on his body" that was looking for a apprentice. He wanted $100 per two day class so i jumped in and forked over the little cash i had. Day one was cleaning and organizing his shop..... day two he talked about how I'm gonna learn and what each of his classes were about...??? So after paying him $100 for nothing i decided to figure it out myself. This was short lived. I just recently started again with the help of KZread, thank you btw for posting all the instructional videos it helps a ton. My struggles would be holding depth and that is killing my consistency when lining it's definitely getting better with time but i am my worst critic. Thanks again for all the help.

I've been tattooing for about 4-5 months now consistently.. and I think the thing I struggle with the most is shading and deciding which needles are best for the shading piece I'm doing whether a mag is the way to go or a round shader, as well as speed. Living in a small town in Ontario, there aren't many people or places to reach out to for tips and tricks, so your channel has definitely been my holy grail from the start! So many tattoo artists have that old school mentality where everything has to be some big secret and competition with one an other.. so I can't even express how much I appreciate your channel!! Keep killing it man 🤘🏼

I have been tattooing around 8 months. Every time I pick up my machine I find myself getting a bit better. I have got my blood borne pathogens certification and have done as much research about safety and the art as I possibly can, huge shout out to you! Though it is difficult for me to afford a very nice machine like this, I do the best with what I have! (Amazon rotary) Between family and friends everyone is excited to watch me grow and get better each time they have been so very supportive. I would say my biggest problem is getting those deep rich one pass lines in. Sometimes I hit it beautifully depending on the person and sometimes I just can't seem to get it. This may be due to the stroke of my machine, persons skin, hand speed, etc. Still learning and making adjustments every chance that I get. Thankful for your videos, you ROCK!

Hi there!! I’m just starting out as an artist, and have found your videos super helpful. I grew up with both parents having tattoos, but my dad was on the edgier side of life. We used to always chill and work on his Harley together. For the holidays, probably next year since I’m just starting, I really want to be able to give him a piece of art that he will love. My biggest struggle in tattooing is dealing with my mental state. There are days when I feel confident about my work, but other times I beat myself up over the smallest things. I’m working on it ☺️

I’ve only been learning the art of tattooing these past couple of months. I have yet to brave real skin. My wife has volunteered as tribute though lol. I can sketch and draw with the utmost confidence, but I struggle the most making sure my lines stay consistent. Same pressure, pace, etc. I know that comes with time and continuous practice and that’s what I’m doing. Your videos have helped me not feel so overwhelmed with taking the arduous journey of tattooing. and I appreciate that a lot.

Your new guides are a help for speeding up that progress, but time is honestly what I need more of! Cheers!

Hello. I began tattooing a little over a year ago. I’m specializing in lining & fine details like realistic insects. My struggle? Getting crisp lines with any needle less than 1207RL. The smaller you go, the less room for error. (I’m sure a snazzy new machine would help, eh?) 😁 Your channel has been an inspiration. Your humble & open-minded attitude allows us to really grow & improve right along with you.

I've been tattooing for about a year and a half. I have been watching your videos from the get go. They are a huge help, and i can't thank you enough. You are awesome! My biggest struggle so far has been packing in solid color. Half the time my color packing seems to have a pattern in it and doesn't look uniform. I also have trouble getting a good stretch on fattier skin, so its hard to really get the ink in there. Thats probably a mixture of my technique and my shitty amazon tattoo kit machine. I've read quite a bit about these cnc machines, and i think having one would really help me get better end results with my tattooing. Hopefully luck is shining down on me and i win this. I feel like an apprenticeship is a pipe dream, but having the proper equipment (like this machine) and more practice could turn that pipe dream into a reality. Thanks again for all the great videos!

I'm struggling with shaky hands honestly, especially on myself. I take deep breathes before pulling a line, really helps. Would love to have a decent machine, I use the mast pen from amazon.

Love your videos and how detailed with explaining things it helps out so much! Thanks for taking the time to do so. I've been tattoo for about 2 years now and my biggest struggle at first was one pass lines and now I haven't been able to practice on fake skin or myself alot lately been busy/lack of space to do so... so I find myself going over your videos and refreshing the basics and it's helped so much that I feel I need alot more work on needle depth and just techniques or shading and stuff like that

Hey man great videos. Ur always straight point on things. Ur videos have helped me on things more & I'm pretty sure helped others. I've been tattooing for a little over 1yr now since I finished my apprenticeship. So I'm still kinda fresh I guess u could say. My struggle is doing portraits. I've not been ballsy enough to tattoo them & that's good cause when I draw them I always manage to screw up somehow & someway. Being the shading or setting the eyes right or whatever. It sucks. I have 1 guy at the shop who always say portraits aren't for everyone. Everybody else keeps saying to work on it, keep trying, never give up, & they give me pointers & tips. I'm starting to sometimes believe the 1 guy though. Again ur videos are great man & I'll keep watching.

I've been tattooing for a little less than a year maybe 10 months or so just got my full technician license from my state 2 months ago, I really enjoy color neotraditional tattoos I feel very comfortable with different line weights and working with solid black and color, even packing and blending colors like white yellow and skintones, but sometimes when I tattoo some more black and gray realistic style without using opaque grays so only using solid black and gray washes I feel like the contrast isn't as good as it could be, so I'm not as happy with it as my other tattoos I do, I still think they look professional and everything but I also feel like they are not as dynamic as they could be, I really enjoy your videos by the way I feel like you helped me with things my mentors didn't touch on

My husband started tattooing 13 yrs ago and broke his hand then when we met decided to learn together during covid! Weve been tattooing since fall 2019! And it has been a rough journey. From the very first tattoo I did on myself to the 22nd now under my belt and especially watching your videos! All that trial and error and just each time getting more and more confident (especially with my line work/ I am gonna email you our tattoo journey and cant wait to hear what wisdom/criticism/tips you have to offer on the progress!) I still struggle with packing in color I get impatient sometimes and tend to over work my skin... I know I have to just find the right method and slow down lol but I am so happy with my progress and cant wait for more tips!!!

I first started tattooing on 2018 and I was a bit late, I am 35 now. But since that, I haven't done more than 50 tattoos because of the struggle I am in, which is: Lack of self-confidence. This curse is keep standing on my way no matter what I am doing. I am a professional illustrator, I studied arts&design at university, I have trained eyes and I know my tattoos are not bad but I still don't feel myself complete, therefore I am even delaying my bookings. I still think I am not good enough. I am still practicing the designs on fake skin before tattooing a client. A tattoo artist friend of mine is trying to help me, he even convinced me to be partners so I can beat this curse and improve my skills. He believes in me more than I believe in myself. We sealed the deal yesterday and I am going to have my own spot in his studio but I am so scared that I am going to mess it up.

I’ve been tattooing about 3 months now. Got inspired from a guy who did my tattoo and is willing to help me but no apprenticeship so most of my knowledge is through your videos. I’ve done 10 tattoos on myself(if 4 fingers count) 1 on my sister and 2 on my brother. My biggest problems is different needles and getting comfortable with certain liners. Either speed or depth my 5/7/9 rl lines look pretty much the same so finding consistency or the difference between them.

I’ve been tattooing for around six months now and I’m definitely no expert or professional but I’m coming along. My biggest issue right now is color I can pack in color and chose colors that go well with each other but I have a hard time really adding shades and texture for say, I head to boot camp in a month or so now but I look forward to practicing during my service and coming out and getting a apprenticeship! Your videos helped me tremendously in the beginning learning to line and color pack as well as mixing and overall tattoo procedures. Never used a tattoo pen before I started with coils and just never had the funds to upgrade I believe using a pen would make for better control and comfort I may have to save towards one of these

This pen is legit. For the price this things romps. I bought it to replace a cheap dragonhawk coil from their dirt cheap coil kits. I run it at the recommended 7.5 for lining - still working on hand speed. I used it at 6.2 for my last packings. I used it at 8 after watching you and I ate my thigh up. I also am left handed and did a few bad techniques(following righties) and corrected that. Now I feel more confident.

I had a similar issue and like yourself american /neo traditional was what i was very much into, still love it, and as you know line work is everything especially with this style. I dont know what you are using for machines but i know for me lining with coils made a big difference. Its all about the feel and with coils atleast in my experience a good coil is the best way to go in that direction.after you are pulling consistent bold lines with your coil, everything after is a walk in the park.

sup Dave! I've been at it for a year now this past September, and I must say I've learned a lot in the past 15 months but I'm still not to the point where I'm entirely comfortable and confident enough for building a clientele yet... but I've recently been working diligently on practice skin and I've been able to track my progress. I'm progressing fairly rapidly but that's due to tall the small tiny steps I've made before I made it to this point. I finally got a bishop shader and it has changed the game for me but i practice using a mummy and I've grown comfortable with it. the good thing is that the mummy I have and the shader is comparable in size so the transition is seamless. if you are looking for someone to give the machine to don't look any further... I'm your guy because the more I can learn new machines the closer I become to being a virtuoso artist like yourself... thank you brother for assisting me in my journey
