Question. Do you have a specific video of converting a turbo to draw thur ? supposedly you need a different seal because of fuel going through the turbo.. Thanks .will be cheap ebay GT45. gotta start somewhere.

People say you need a turbo with a dynamic seal. There are not many models that have that. One model is a t2 version which not all t2 turbos have that, they are actually more rare. Then another model is a t3 from a ford tinder bird turbo. These are the only 2 turbos I know that have the dynamic seal, which means it uses an oring on the front seal instead of a metal piston ring. I don’t know if any larger turbo that has a dynamic seal.

I really want this one repaired. Z axis doesn’t work anymore. I think the motor is needing repair. When the machine was sold to me, the head was rebuilt and it has a new Prototrak controller which cost around 10k. Z axis went bad because there was a bar holding up the counter weight for shipping purposes. I was never informed about the counter weight bar so we used the machine with the counter weight suspended for a few years. I think the z axis motor burned up as a result. It works good in 2 axis most of the time.
