CNC Four Different Guitar Fretboards At The Same Time | Multiple Work Coordinates Fuison360 Mach3

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I am making four fretboards simultaneously, without a crazy number of tool changes.
-Check out my website. I would be happy to make an unfinished guitar, bass, or any string instrument for you. The standard method to support what I do here, both as Ideas and projects that you will see on the channel. Do you have an idea that you think would look awesome in one of these videos? Let's make it! If you need a router template set to make your design, I make those too!

Thanks to Oak Studios for the music; I'm trying something different, and so far, I like it. Check them out, and let me know what you think of the music.

I was wondering why your videos were so soothing to watch, then I realised you sound like Richard Dreyfuss when he narrated the movie Stand by me 😂 great work on the fretboards they look great 👍

Just a thought...maybe take an hour or two and add some supports to the table your CNC sits on. Otherwise great video.

An hour or two is a gross underestimation, and it's already dealt with on the new build. kzread.info/head/PLtoC5TIxpwGWaUB-oaUARnTcgnhmrgpcU

0.0.23", from ebay , as long as you get the tool engagement set up correctly they rarely break.

The chimera(?) inlay looks sick! I cringe everytime I see people removing fretboards from the spoilboard when they're glued down like that, has one ever broken on you? I'm sure it's fine since you always do it, and you do it a lot, but it's not a pretty sight haha

I haven't broken one yet, but it happens, no biggie, just make another.

As always you’re a few steps ahead of me… I was wondering if I could use multiple work coordinate offsets to mill multiple parts and save on tool change time…

Looks Great Man. Which Radius bit you use for fretboard Radius ? I have hard time with milling marks for fretboard Radius.

    I'm using a 0.75" ball nose with a 0.06 step over. I sand with a radius block with 60, 400, and finally 800, it's a bit of work,but not bad.

They are all from ebay, just regular router bits, nothing special.
