awesome awesome interview man. i'm convinced that punk and the wwe have been carefully prodding "IWC Smarks" with ambiguous tales of backstage this and that which has helped create almost an "uber mark." at the end of it all its kind of genius. and the beauty of it is it comes from what is very traditional storytelling. and it's kind of a nice sort of "full circle."

This is the first time since "the streak" became big that I actually want to see Taker lose. Even with the heat from the urn it doesn't have the feel for me as the last couple years did, the only way to really make this match special is for Punk to win in my opinion, and can you imagine the heat that would only add to Punk's momentum? How many "smart marks" would just be pissed? and that is exactly why I think it has to happen. Great chemistry in this interview btw.

As for the paul bearer stuff, i do not refer to it as cheap heat , i refer to it as just boring. I liked paul bearer and i knew that they would go in this direction, they did this before with eddie and while they have not gone as far (like they did with eddie) , the paul bearer stuff has been a hinderance and uncomfortable to watch. NO ONE was bent out of shape about a tribute to him, but people did not like the storyline material they used.

Hearing Cm Punk say "shut the fuck up" sounds awkward because i never hear him say that i know it's a damn TV he can't say it but when he says it here it just wakes me up lol. I would love to meet Cm Punk but that's never gonna happen.

Bearer's son never said he didn't like it. He simply said seeing it was different than hearing about it. Then some people misconstrued what he said to make it seem as if WWE lied to him or that he was pissed. He even made a statement afterwards clarifying what he meant and said he still trusts them. Stop using that as an example.

Straight edge punk would of been golden to go against the beer drinking poster boy of the attitude era. The corporate champ would of been punk instead of the rock. Vince playing the boss and trying to have punk as the example for everyone. It practically writes it self. Rock would of still been a star though
