    How is no one rooting for CM Punk? Gall humiliated his ass and his response was to try harder. He has character, he's the ultimate underdog. He might not have the skills but he's got heart, and a backbone. Come on.

    Getting hurt by convincing yourself you are a fighter when you clearly aren't is not only delusional but outright dangerous. It's clearly not worth it. Having heart is one thing but if you don't have the tools to back it up, it's a lost, painful cause.

    Frengotti89 Punk was really straightforward if he didn't like you he didn't like you. Yes he wasn't the most humble guy around in WWE. Given his massive star power there can't really blame him. And even in real life he had to hold on to that 'Cult of Personality' gimmick. But yes I do agree he's gotten more humble after getting beat up but as far as being genuine and honest he has been that way since I started watching wwe

    Ariel’s interview style is one of a reflective and challenging manner. That’s why after he asks a question, you’ll usually see the fighters look up, or wait a bit to answer. He’s getting directly to the core. It’s also uncomfortable at times, which is why you seem some fighters look at him like: “Bruh, what is your problem?” This is why it seems therapeutic. **Source - I’m a therapist.

    CM Punk looks really old for his age. He's not even that old, he's nearly 40 but he looks at least 45. Why does this always happen with wrestlers? Is it all the PEDs from the past? CM Punk doesn't strike me as the type that does any of that.

    Don't know anything about CM Punk. I haven't followed WWE since the Attitude era. He seems like a nice guy and humble. I don't really understand the hate that he's getting. He got critized and made fun of when he announced he was fighting. Got mauled and beat down in an embarrassing way but still wants to get back there. There's something inspirational about what he's doing. And what he's done and about to do deserves my respect. Good luck to him. 🙌

He loses his next ufc match and after awhile he’s gonna do a match with a guy he was never able to wrestle before, fall back in love with wrestling and work the indie circuit again. Not WWE and no contracts. He’s gonna have fun on the road workin his schedule making decent money. Idk wild guess

    Randy Coture has a much different background from Punk. And I think Punk made $.5M for his last fight? Not a bad payday, but a different kind of difficult lifestyle from wrestling. Punk would deny he's doing this for the money (of course it plays some part). But to think of going into MMA for the money.... that is not what draws most people, is it?

  • @ThereIsNoLord

    @ThereIsNoLord

    Honestly, I'm not sure what draws people to it. MMA Fighters are even less famous than wrestlers, it seems to me. And I don't know exactly how they get paid, but most MMA fighters don't exactly seem to be getting rich. There might be some allure to being thought of as one of the toughest guys on the planet, but Punk is never going to be that either. This is why I say it is a peculiar decision.

    People think he'll never come back to the WWE, just remember Vince McMahon and the WWE had some bad relationships with Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior but managed to close those doors and patch things up with them and or their family . They also have managed to bring back guys when there was a strained relationship. Hulk Hogan was involved in the steroid lawsuit against Vince McMahon in the early 90's then he (Hogan) left to work for his rival (Ted Turner/WCW). So did Kevin Nash and Scott Hall. He patched things up with Brett Hart after years and controversy regarding the Montreal Screwjob. Point is if it's GOOD FOR BUSINESS, Stephanie McMahon and Paul "Triple H" Lesveque will bring him back if he (Phil Brooks) wants too. I think he will make another run at wrestling whether it's in the WWE or another wrestling circuit.

    Maybe this is just the wrestling fan in me, but I gotta imagine deep down Punk still loves wrestling, but wrestling the way he knows it and remembers it. NJPW should come at him with a serious offer to fight Kenny Omega, the way they got Jericho. Punk can do what he wants when he wants with pro wrestling after his fight on Saturday. If he had a vindictive bone in his body, he could really stick it to WWE. If he legitimately showed up at NJPW and ROH for the occasional match/feud, I bet record numbers of people would tune in...
