Kristov Asunciou hes has been training for a long time and hes on trt and some other shit his kicking techniques are insane and he is explosive as fuck his best friend is legendary jujitsu artist +he himself has black belt in bjj

I've known of Punk since 2006 & I gotta say it's pretty cool to have seen his debut in ECW in 06, when the commentators were saying ''this is a different kind of athlete from what we've never seen before'' to now nearly 10 years later & he's about to fight for the first time in the UFC. Solomon Grundy I imagine he's talking about NOW. It's plain to see he's a lot happier and more easy-going now than he was toward the end of his WWE run. He's probably a lot more chill now that he's the low guy on the totem poll than he was when he was being overlooked for a bunch of guys not fit to tie his laces. Personally, when I look at THIS guy (the one in the video) he does seem like he'd be pretty easy to work with.

Adam Hauger He spent nearly his entire life fighting at night with the WWE. He basically cheated Circadian Rhythm. IMO Punk looks a lot better than when he was with WWE.

I'm always going to be fan of Cm-Punk. That man isn't scared to speak his mind and I respect him for that, what he did in the wrestling world, how he is never changes and him going after what he REALLY want to do.

CM PUNK! CM PUNK! CM PUNK! I'm a wrestling guy, I barely watch MMA. I was always a supporter of Punk in WWE and that isn't gonna change in UFC. I hope he does well there. I can't wait for his debut.

Punk nailed it when he said: If he loses in his debut fight, everyone will say "I told you so". If he wins in his debut fight, everyone will say "His opponent sucked". Either way this man will step up on fight day and I know he will give his all despite knowing that people won't be satisfied regardless.

These casual interviews are fricking awesome!

Hes a dick when you call him by his real name but i dont if he still gets mad about that since hes in ufc now Also he during the end of his wwe run he was a real asshole to work with, mostly because he was frustrasted with his placement, direction of company, hurt etc He also not the one to sit back and take ur shit, you call him a bitch to his face, hed probably punch But now that hes more happier hes cooled off a bit.

I seriously hope these annual interviews go on for many many years, always so good.

I remember CM punk on Total Nonstop Action, ages ago. He was always popular with fans. Even when I stopped watching wrestling I would see that CM Punk is now in wwe and he is on main event titles. Seeing him in this interview he seems really cool

It's been 8 months... and he is still not on a card and won't fight this year... So When??? I thought he was going to come right in from the WWE, within some time and fight, not over a year!

Agreed. Brock had an actual life time of real competitive Wrestling and Top NCAA Competition after High school competition... and he had 3 Professional MMA Fights in other top mma organizations...

Oh this is fucking great! Thanks Ariel! Btw sound is pretty bad, it is decent but something is a bit wrong maybe it is Punk's house creating some echo. Might want to take a look at that. And cant wait for CM Punk's videos about his training.

I watched this for 12 time before and l still want to watch it again

Loved CM Punk since he was in RoH. I'm glad more people are finally starting to get behind him. He always keeps it real and is one of the most entertaining guys to listen to even if it's just a conversation in his living room. Ariel Helwani did a great job here and that's no surprise. Always asks the perfect questions and stays out of the way when the interviewee is talking. These 2 are the modern day Hulk Hogan and Mean Gene.

Punk's journey leaving the WWE and going on to bigger and better things in UFC is in a weird kinda sorta way mirroring what I'm going through with my life in the past year although yes we are in two different worlds. I wish you nothing but the best Punk!

Rory Karpf, the man doing the CM Punk video footage of training, does one hell of a good job. He's done a lot of NASCAR programming as well...Which is where I recognize his name from.

when i use to watch wwe, i like CM Punk. so for him to go to the ufc, train as hard as he can, and to face all of these obstacles is really something to respect in the since of doing what you love and just doing you. so i hope he does good and even if he does bad, then he just needs to go back to the lab and keep on working and learning. there is an old saying for a situation like that, "you live...you learn". so thats that.....

Think it's cool what CM Punk is doing, hes passionate about things and its great to see people follow there passion.

Im rooting for him, I hope he does well. I dont think he will ever be anything beyond mid tier (and thats optimistic) but I hope this journey works out for him!!

This video "randomly" appeared in my recommended video section months after watching anything cm punk related, good job youtube.

I don't watch WWE, so didn't really know who Punk was until he signed for the UFC, but he seems a really chill, humble, likeable guy who understands the reality of his situation. Kind of the opposite of Johnny Hendricks.
