I ask my friends to call and wake me up when it rains at night so that I don't miss a drop of it. I LOVE storms, the ones that build until the sky looks like a purple bruise and thunder screams while the clouds light up with yellow snakes of lightning. I was born in the South but have lived in southern California for fifty years, chained here by responsibility and love. I hate it because it almost never rains and, when it does, what our weatherman out here calls a STORM would be a heavy drizzle back home. I can count the times I have seen lightning on my fingers. The kindest gifts I ever got were video tapes of thunderstorms that my friend Bill recorded after moving back to Texas, and a phone call from my friend Michael when he was visiting New York City and held the receiver to the sidewalk for fifteen minutes so that I could listen to the rain pound on the concrete. I love all your videos, but this is my favorite because I can actually hear the rain in the background.
When it's raining I sleep like a baby 😊 great idea too ❤
AHHH QUE COSITAS TAN HERMOSASSSSSS!!!!!! GRACIAS POR COMPARTIR.
I love your vintage style a lot.
I just love listening to you. And...also love your tutorials!!!
Love this idea! Thank you and God bless
I don't sleep during the rain unless it is raining thru the night, but nervously, if a hurricane with lots of rain since Harvey. I am watching you now and die cutting doilys, tags and punching flowers form my scraps. I've been doing this since 10: am and it is 1:40. I've got to eat as soon as you are finished. Love each one and thank you for teaching this.
Awesome idea. I've made pen holders, but havent embellished them. I made one on a journal cover with elastic. It's nice!! Here in north eastern Washington we are having a dangerous heat wave. We have weather alerts thru next week. I'm watching this video almost a year later. Its June 28, 2021 now.
I love to listen to the rain and thunder storms. Need to send the storm our way. Wyoming is dry. God bless and keep you. 💖
thank you for sharing your talent
omg...your clusters are spectacular!!!
Thank you for showing the non elastic pen loops. I don't have elastic so its nice to know I don't NEED it
Oh wow....I really like your cluster pen clips. I got to try making a few.
I saw Natasha from treasure books make the pen holders but she used elastic. I really enjoy your videos!! thamk u for sharing!!
I Love all your stuff!!!!!!!!🥰🥰🥰
I love the sound of rain but when it’s bad it does scare me every since we had a tornado that passed through my neighborhood. I never been scared before it happened, but now I’m terrified. Love your artwork. Supper cool 😎
I love to hear the rain on a tin roof or the car port.
What an awesome idea! Tfs

What a great idea!! I am making my first junk journal and will definitely add this pen holder to it. Thank you! (PS I’m watching a lot of your tutorials for great ideas because you always have the best!)
Thank you for showing us how to do this!! I am learning so much from your videos!! I love using scraps and also love to listen to the rain!! Can't wait to see what your going to do next! Bless you and thank you again!!

Got to get some of these made to put my journal. Love them so cute..
These are so cute and practical for journaling with the pen attached. I have lots of pens left from other projects that I need to use and may give these a try. Thanks so much!

Great project for any journal....Thank you Miss Edith
the sound of rain when it is gentle is brilliant to go to sleep to, however, cyclone force - uh uh ... gentle rain on a tin roof is so soothing scraps now are going to be a favourite to do things with since watching this :) the 'half empty container in the fridge and get a full one ... NOPE, just NOPE

We have a brick home, so I don't even know when it rains. When I see trees bending, I know it's storming. I kind of miss hearing the rain.

As a child I was scared to death of a storm. Now I love the sound of thunder. And rain. Zzzzzz
I ordered “deli papers - unwaxed” and I’m sure that’s what you have. I only scrolled for a little bit, so this question may have been answered 287 times, sorry if that’s the case. Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing 😊
I love your technique. Shabby chic style. But where do you get your “bling”. I cannot find the kind that gets cut apart. Thank you for your videos.

Thank you so much for joining us. Welcome!
Love this pen clip. Which video show how to make the ephemera storage book you used? What did you call it so I can find it?
Hi E, I love your videos. I have been making tags with you, but have yet to make a journal. Can you point me to the right video so I can make one. Thanks so much.
Curious, what material are you using for the pen loop? I apologize if I missed it. These are wonderful

It is just a thin cotton from an old tote bag. And I have used some lace.
Great project! Was wondering if you could put the paper clip on before you glue everything down? Then you could skip the step of putting that extra piece on the back.

Would it be in the way of the pen holding piece?

What bling are you using here?

I'm sure it is just various blings from my stash. I can't remember since this has been over a year ago. But I have plenty of bling in my stash.
