(Incidentally, this is not the only falling chandelier woe that Martin Mull must endure - fate repeats itself at the end of one of the variou outcomes this film famously offers where he is shot by Wadworth - except the bullet catches the chandelier- again!)

(After the twice murdered (!) body of Boddy has been discovered - Mustard and Scarlet discover a secret passage which they obviously explore, only to find themselves find themselves locked in the lounge with the body of Col. Mustard's driver ('Motorist') during the war. Hearing their screams for help, Yvette (sexy french maid type played by Colleen Camp - what a name!) shoots the door open with the revolver, and also the cord of the hanging chandelier in the process - thus the comic denouement we witness!)
(ps. I love the exasperated 'live reporting' way Martin Mull utters the newsflash - "I've been shot" (clutches shoulder) - See it again 5 times in a row (!) here: • "I've been shot" (clut... )
