The new B16A2 swapped EK Civic gets to crack some VTEC out at Chuckwalla Valley Racing with CLUB RACER🏎️💨
A ton of prep was put into getting the DAP hatch ready for the event! Along with the new powerplant, an ACTION CLUTCH stage 2 kit was added. Since we had removed the transmission again, we bolted it back in with Megan Racing Hard Rubber Motor Mounts. Also updated the front suspension a bit with HARDRACE front lower control arms, running hardened rubber bushings. Last but not least, the MOROSO baffled oil pan from my previous B20 motor was swapped over to the B16, a MUST when tracking with a B-Series👌
Despite the ECU trouble we had earlier that week, we were able to break-in the clutch and drive 1,000 miles in a week!! Prepping gets quite STRESSFUL but after a good day of racing with your homies at the track, you already can’t wait for the next event🏁
