I was so excited when I would catch an episode of these shows with them on it, we of course had our own versions club kids here in Baltimore and the surrounding areas and I love seeing them as well. Of course my parents weren’t too impressed but I always really enjoyed seeing them and couldn’t wait till I was older to go to the club too but the whole club changed the time that I got there and it was not like that at all, you think God media I’m able to reach out to some of them and get to tell them how much I love them❤

The club kids were all narcissistic and nasty behind it all. They were a warning, of what was coming with the Internet age I was clubbing in London at this time. We thought they were a joke we had something similar in the 80's called New Romantics or some bullshit Although it did produce some good music, the fashion was laughable ,just like the Club Kids

I love how their outfits are mostly all handmade. The skill these people have is outstanding and beautiful. We need more of these people. They're the ones who truly belong in the fashion industry. They're innovative and outgoing with style. Just brilliantly beautiful.

Joan was such a Pro.... She treated them exactly as What they were, GUESTS of the show! She was respectful and polite, just as she would be if they were a TV or movie star! Love her for that!
I love Joan. She is so open minded, funny, and lovely. Rip.
I lived in NYC the whole of the 1990s and was part of that clubkid scene...I really miss it!
This is why Joan is so beloved in the gay community. Hell, I've seen enough Joan Rivers impersonators in my day too! It really is a the truest form of flattery. You know your famous when drag queens want to emulate you.

Because she actually treated Gay people like just that, "people"? We aren't all that different if you just take the time and you're right, that is why Joan was really liked by gay people (I won't say "us" since I was just a kid during this era and didn't even know who Joan was until about 2002 lol)
I will always love Joan Rivers, forever! She was a very nice host. R.I.P
Funny how they asked what the next trend was: Industrial, way past techno (which is now cyber goth/cyber punk) and tribal. Pretty much was spot on.
I love Richie's summaries for each guest. He's extremely articulate and charismatic. I'm sure he could sell a cage to a lion.
Gosh she was a gem. The world needs more Joans :(

tildenhellgate Girl, You so outta the loop. Its okay. Micheal Alig Murdered him. Hit him on the head with a hammer, Cut him into pieces, Put his body in a box, Duck-taped it up, then tried to sink the box. Apparently it was salt water they tried to sing the box in which as we know it very buoyant, So the box was found shortly after. Micheal is now out of jail. Theres a Book and Movie called Party monster that will tell you all about it. Really decent book.

I fell in love with club kids as soon as I saw them I was probably about five years old whenever we were home from school whether it was homesick or off for the summertime I was enamored by them.
