I remember 2nd day of state , it was me and my partner who were still alive in the tournament, and we left the hotel the same time that Clovis did, and they almost had their whole team still alive for 2nd day, it was thinking man that's a good program

@@deadly5528 the Central Valley has been like that for a while. We’ve had some beasts come through here. They focused on building it from the ground up at least Clovis High and Clovis West. Buchanan was at least in recent years centered on transfers. My brother’s went to Clovis west and wrestled when Clovis high was the dominant team. Those teams from late 2000’s and early 2010’s were some of the best high school wrestling teams I’ve ever seen. Straight monsters from the smallest weight class to the largest. It’s all about having the right coaches that are really good and want to work with their wrestlers. That’s where the success comes.

@@deadly5528 Starts at the youth level. The culture starts there. I guarantee there are grade school kids that watch these HS matches and see the athletes and competitions as larger than life. Their standards become those of the high schools.

Buchanan has been rated the number #1 public school in the nation along with TRAC league being the toughest league in the nation. By the way im not a Buchanan Fan.b

Anthony Gonzales they always do Clovis is a great team man but Buchanan is the number one team in the United States and they are just flat out incredible
