DC is dressing better for this tournament than he does for the UFC championship. The guy is a true wrestler, heart and soul.

It's also extremely important to teach these young athletes to stay out of the "limelight", stay away from heavy partying, no drugs/alcohol and stay away from those crazy chicks looking for some clout! Wishing all the very best to Chase in college 🙏

Bryce Laya as of now Pennsylvania is the hot bed for hs wrestling. With a lot of today’s current crop of college wrestlers coming from there. Chase is gonna have his hands full wrestling in the best wrestling conference in the nation. Gonna look forward to seeing Chase compete in the Big 10.

So proud of our Cousin Chase. He's worked SO hard since he was a kid and to see it all come together was awesome. You can see our family go nuts after his pin at 5:58 in the background... we all wearing the same shirt with his name on it. DC and Chase have built a special bond that will last a lifetime =) Can't wait for MSU next!!!

there's not denying DC is one hell of a coach, but the example you picked out is pretty elementary...Any coach worth a damn would know to tell your wrestler to sit out when you have the chicken wing locked up and the other guy has already rolled over...

This is the fruits to trains under dc and to spare with khabib and Islam

These iamthebay videos started popping up in my feed a few months ago. Always was a DC fan, but now i'm a khabib and gilroy hs fan too. Got really excited when i saw the notification for this one. Chase is a testament to what happens when you have a goal and relentlessly work hard. Great job!

Yeah stars aligned. It wasn't just that DC was his coach. It started because DC moved into the house next door to him. You happen to be an up and coming high school wrestler and DC moves in next door and says I'm gonna help this kid. Wasn't normal coach relationship - DC would text him in the afternoon and be - come next door and train. You can't buy that. Parents must have a hook up with the big guy upstairs.

Honestly DC is a legend and I hope he stays involved with the UFC after he retires from fighting because his great personality is contagious. I have a better time watching fights when DC is commentanting. I don't understand how I used to not like him back when he fought Jones the first time. Incredible fighter especially witn the physique he had, incredible human aswell.

I remember doing different sports growing up...football, baseball, and of course wrestling and it seems like such an insignificant thing but my best coaches were the ones that really got to know us and our families...

Im so happy for chase and DC. Dc is a phenomenal human beeing, Trains those kids propably for free, just a gr8 man! We love u DC, ur the real GOAT!

I’ll admit. I didn’t care for DC one bit. But after seeing this and other videos of him working with these young men, and the emotion he has for it dispite his status and reputation. Im a fan! Much respect! I remember my wrestling coaches 20 years later and the mentorship they showed. He has had a positive impact on their lives that they will never forget. Well done Sir!

It's dope seeing him do well as a ranked wrestler at Michigan State.

That was some brutal wrestling. He got American and Russian flavour in his wrestling and that makes him real deal. I see this guy as a gold medalist someday.

For y’all that don’t no wrestling, pins even in a state level are so uncommon. This was an exceptional performance in this level. This guy wiped the floor with his competitor.

This kid is good period, nothing to do with who he spared. One sparing session with a UFC fighter doesn't make you the best overnight. It takes time and dedication. For him to make a UFC fighter sweat and work hard speaks for itself.
