@@kinyacat5919 Dead but cannot pass through the afterlife, she can still use her body forever. She's still alone in her own death dimension. Omen can still age, he just has a suit on cuz he got burned from acid

i dont think the astra line on clove was talking about how she could be evil, they were talking about how clove may view their ability as a curse if they feel like their life has run its course (ie immortality as a curse) i think the only indication that clove considered malpractice was the line to themself

That's a pretty good take on it!

astra probably worried about clove having to live forever, for now being immortal is fine, but what about when clove is old. when clove is ready to die, she still cant die. Its one of the main problems with immortality

they*, but yeah it is one of the main problems with it. My theory is that since Clove can choose to revive themselves, so that if they are ready to die, they can just choose to not revive themself.

i have a theory where clove found out about being immortal beacuse they attempted suicide because of a trauma when they were younger. i think this because it would fit with the sad clove that they find in the dimension where they go when they die. the police tapes are probably because the trauma was their parents being assassinated. while writing this it makes me think of how maybe they found out not becaus of a suicide attempt but perhaps because of the burglar trying to kill them too. but hey thats just a theory A GAME THEORY (i miss matpat)

Fortunately, Clove has a way around this, as everytime she "Dies" she turns into a ghost and could escape

The idea of agent rotations is interesting but sounds very unlikely considering most of the agents cost money and paying money for an agent you couldn't even use would kind of suck

After Sir Jeppy stopped uploading valorant lore videos I have been very lost on the lore aspect of the game because I didnt have the time to research into this kinda stuff even though I liked this part of the game alot. I would really like to watch more videos like this from you♥

I think the "We could've ruled this world together" as a serious-toned idiom Assuming Astra was right on what everyone in the comment section are saying (Immortality = Ultimate Loneliness), Clove may have meant that they could've been with each other forever (assuming friends by default, cant know everything)

Agent rotation will never be a thing. The community already hates map rotations, and it would easily be the most uncompetitive change Riot could make. You don't just rotate out chess pieces in chess, so why would they do it in Valorant?

initially i was under the impression that clove's release would be the beginning of agent rotations. clove's util is designed to fill the "duelisty controller" niche that omen has been occupying for a while now. i thought that the arrival of clove would see the departure of omen for lore purposes.

I think people overlook this but clove still ages as show in the trailer where it shows a younger clove which means eventually clove will just be barely able to function /move and will have to watch the world fall apart around her

I think she became immortal is cause she deranked from radiant not to hard when you think about it some people really dont understand what their seeing

if you kinda look at clove's backstory scene in the video, i think its actually chamber holding a sniper, u can see the hair and the glasses

I feel like the first theory seems to be more in line with what we know, it's heavily implied that she's a radiant and her age seems to line up with other valorant agents from the first light event. I find it interesting that clove seems to have a more unique form of a separate plane of existence, with Astra's voiceline we know that Iso and Yoru's form of plane's aren't weird to her or at the very least, not worth pointing out and we know that Clove struggles to return back to the living when she is caught between this plane of life and death, which is possibly what the gold butterfly is for in the cinematic, to prevent herself from simply just sitting in that plane.

To me Butterfly made sense since the beginning bcs of butterfly effect being a thing saying that things chnge if u go back in time, and maybe she can restore her body by going back in time, resulting on imortallity

Like everyone else is saying, I don't think agent rotations will ever happen. Just like Omen recently I think we will have agents leave or even become evil, but they'll always be playable. I mean, Chamber is literally a mass murderer and I don't think that will stay secret forever

@@gxalcremieshiny4229 kind of wrong, he does seem to need to activate the ability as in two cinematics he's shown to tp back to where he activated his ultimate, and while Sage can bring people back from the dead, its heavily implied that she's drawing from some external life force in order to be doing this, and there might be limits as to who she can bring back given her supposed failure with reyna's little sister, forcing viper to take over the experiment

Hold up actually, not having character skins might be a blessing in disguise since you cant spend money on skins for them they can rotate them to make the game feel fresh where as other games like apex and r6 have an ever growing roster eventually it will get dry but valorant one season could have a new character that works well with sage for example too well maybe so next season they take sage out and put a character that doesnt work well with them in to keep the meta fresh

​@@tamo_louis Hourglass is some kind of shadow organisation that the Valorant Protocol is currently fighting against, we also know form last video with Omen that they are the ancient employer of Omen before he became was he is now (as an assassin) I could be wrong but they are also the former employers of Iso. They also knew about radianite before most of the world (maybe at the same time as kingdom or they worked with them)

as someone who is learning english, when you say "them" it confuses at some point and for a sec i'm like "wait who is "them" did I miss something in the video ?" And then I remember the non-binary thing. Personnally, I say what comes naturally in my mind at the moment so it's always "she" for me when I'm referring to Clove, it's less complicated for me (and I think it's the case for lots of ppl) and since she's a fictionnal character with no real feelings I will not feel guilty for that. But I'm not saying ppl souldn't say "them" when referring to Clove, say whatever you feel comfortable with just like I do :) Very good video btw

She has an interesting design ngl, love her color scheme a lot, reminds me about Reyna, it's just that Reyna has a darker purple and clove has a girly-pop pink-ish purple. I hope we get more of her lore and how she ended up being immortal. Astra is also a purple Queen, just like the other 2.
