Cloud seeding: How the UAE gets creative to increase rainfall

Ғылым және технология

The UAE gives millions to fundi cloud-seeding and rain-enhancement research projects. The country also has an ambitious cloud-seeding programme. In 2017, the country performed 242 cloud-seeding operations. The National takes you inside the National Centre of Meteorology to show you just how it all works.

I just watched a video about many people suffer because no water connection at all at Karachi because rain stops coming for 10 years. How can other people in rain-blessed country try to stop a research that'll save many people just because of your assumption? how selfish is that.. I find this rain research is awesome.

We people must take some action against this type of act by government

This *will* affect everyone as climate is a complex and interdependent system

@@santiagovelamorales1029 The climate is so complex that we can't make simple generalizations. To do so would be to oversimplify. We don't have a complete understanding of how weather and climate work. In the absence of understanding, how can one group of people tell another group of people what they can do in their own territory? Is the UN supposed to come in there with guns and say, "No, you can't have rain," on the basis of some flimsy argument from an incomplete science? So far, the UN has a pretty embarrassing record with regard to these issues (I'm thinking about Iraq), especially considering that they seem to have no problem with nuclear testing, which probably has a greater effect than just some potassium salt. Until a firm case can be established, nobody has the right to hold them back from development, and at this point I would be very skeptical of anything related to climate coming from the same people who consider Greta Tunberg heroic.

@@Beegeezy144 “the climate is so complex we can’t make simple generalizations” there’s literally 12% of “other compounds” but “it’s just basically salt”, it’s not just one trail either, there’s multiple, now multiply the trails EACH DAY by 12% in each region it flies over…. Not only that, the UAE literally lives in the desert, yes they can still thrive in that environment, but affecting the world with their own actions? (Not just the UAE) for “some rain” when crops are dying, most of your food is already fake, so they want to make the process fake too? Don’t say no because “seedless” fruits and vegetables that normally have them are just mind blowing how people comply with buying that fake stuff because “I hate when seeds get stuck in my teeth” when in reality our nutrition has dropped since the 1900’s, people are weaker than before, we think we are smart because we are able to read paragraphs like this, when most people are doing is just typing, taking, and “enforcing” but never contributing. Even other countries are starting to put bans on “geo-engineering weather” actual politicians, “leaders” and others have spoke about this. They even found a way to make frogs gay somehow, if that’s not a red flag then you need to get new glasses. Is this too simple, for a complex climate?

Unnatural heavy rains take away the rain that was naturally falling in the surrounding area and increase droughts. USA has long used man-made weather weapons to attack other countries, but it also intentionally increases disaster damage in its own country. The increase in hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes is due to man-made weather. Due to heavy use of cloud seeding, there are droughts in South America. So South American countries are accusing USA of stealing our rain. Japan has been repeatedly damaged by the USA man-made weather disaster weapons. Evil Military Countries are intentionally faking natural disasters and attacking others around the world, and trying to gain an advantage through cowardly means. Man-made Earthquake use nuclear wepon. There are countries in the world that experience earthquakes, such as Japan, but most of the severe earthquakes are caused by nuclear weapons and laser weapons of Evil Military Countries. Nuclear weapons are buried in the ground and on the ocean floor and detonated to create man-made earthquakes and man-made tsunamis. Evil Military Countries frequently use electromagnetic attacks and man-made disasters using high-frequency laser weapons. USA Evil military country have been using man-made disaster weapons in Arab area since the Gulf War. So, The Arab country may also to make extensive use of artificial weather disaster weapons. Japan to suffer from the man-made disaster weapons of Evil Military Countries. Concerned about the spread of man-made disasters around the world. That is terrible, scary...

I wonder: are "other materials" internationally legit to be used ? 1:10 12% is considerable amount. How many more and what are those materials composed of? Besides , this is already old technolpgy. 《"In 1978, an estimated 3,000 tonnes of silver were released into the US environment. This led the US Health Services and EPA to conduct studies regarding the potential for environmental and human health hazards related to silver. These agencies and other state agencies applied the Clean Water Act of 1977 and 1987 to establish regulations on this type of pollution."[25]》can be read at AGI Toxicity of the Weather Modification Association
