As much as I like Roger Moore, he really did look like a twat in those outfits in The Persuaders, thank God he got the Bond role and Cubby Broccoli ordered him 'to get a haircut and lose weight!'. It makes me laugh seeing the 'clothes designed by Rog' bit in the credits to this show always - must dig out my boxset and rewatch them - it was fab.

I think he just was dressing for the times he couldn't very well dressed and act like Simon Templar because it wouldn't work I remember him saying about cubby broccoli insisting that he cut his hair and lose weight to the point where he said and frustration why don't you people just hire a bald underweight person
