Ойын-сауық
Eastmans' Elevated podcast host Brian Barney goes DIY bow hunting elk in Montana. He's hunting in October as the elk rut is winding down. It's a public land grind, but after several close encounters Brian closes the deal on a nice 6-point bull in this Eastmans' Hunting TV episode.

Cool hunt! Im pretty sure Ive heard Brian say that he now uses Fixed blade heads on elk and Mule deer. Its crazy how expandable heads just suck the penetration right out of an arrow. Id think a fixed would have gone at least a foot deeper. But, you can only control what you can control and congrats to Brian on that great bull
To all new elk hunters let this also be a lesson on penetration, this is a fortunate shot usually low penetration clipping one lung means a long stressful night and long tracking job. Congrats and caution on expandable for elk.
Good job on a really nice bull. I certainly can identify on long hard stocks just to have something blow it for you. Good job!

Thanks for your comment! That clay is infamous😆👊
That is a LOUD bow, I’m guessing a light arrow and things not tightened down and loose arrows in the quiver.
Brians love of the hunt is contagious
