I think the interesting part of this game is how they portray the "Consciousness being transferred" idea, it's fully possible that if you insert your mind or memory into an android, you'll still be around with everyone thinking the android is you but in reality it is not, you are still in your body with your soul intact.

I watched the Game Theory episode on this some time ago, and was worried this would just be a rehash. You actually touched on some things they didn't--superlative work!

That doesn’t explain how a 5”6 robot can weigh over half a ton (considering Boston dynamics’ Atlas weighs ~160 lbs)

The story has a moral way you must leave everything behind and look somewhere else or close your eyes to see new peaceful world

I remember watching this awhile back, so this makes alot of sense now. Still a really weird game though.

I mean cognitive transfer to robots technically isn’t the worst thing if outside is literally RADS in the bad way and then the fact that you ain’t gonna be able to grow no food because of nuclear winter

The thing is it's only half of your consciousness. The other half is made to suffer experimentation and disposal. So if you do manage to survive the nuclear war in a robot body, you won't be yourself.

Didn't the same thing happen to Robocop? In the movie he too was badly hard and they turn him into a robot and oust him for there dirty work, and they tried him very badly and acted like he wasn't human any more even getting ride of his mummeries too so he couldn't remember being human any more as well as forgetting his wife and son because of that? That wasn't nice of them and I am very glad that he get pay back on the gang that killed him and that fuck up company that did that to him. Evil b for what they did to him

In this story not only world leaders decided World War 3 was necessary but they had a 4th one and then said "yeah there's no way we can negotiate this one out either like civilized people. Welp time to go for a 5th one". Pretty sure they're just bad people

Timestamp 8:45 is where he starts explaining that the husks don’t want to hurt anyone. However, they want to recover their cognitive part, which is stored in the eyes. The eyes are what preserve the person’s identity. The husk is the mutated body and the shell that still has some humanity left.
