Hello, I have a higher fuel consumption then before. This is from recently when i did egr delete since the car was leaking vaccum. So i did a delete. With software and blanked it. Now i have a sluggish car before the boost kicks in. Its a audi 3.0 bitdi. I do have one injector dirty. So i changed the o ring. But could it be i need to clean the injectors?

I need some guide pls. So i have a p0300 and p0304 that i cant clear after replacing plugs and ignition coils. Then i tried to do the unplugging the socket method on each coil and doing so 1,2 and 3 will make my engine erratic and 4 will stay the same by then i tried moving the plugs and coils from other cylinder to 4 and its still the same. So am i right to assume that the injectors are clogged? Im just frustrated bc this is a 2017 nissan Rouge with 16.5k miles that is barely used 😂

My car’s fuel efficiency has gone done significantly, but the others symptoms listed are not present. Could it still be the fuel injectors or something else? Spark plugs and air filter was also changed to try and address the problem but hasn’t helped.

Hey there, A significant decrease in fuel efficiency without other obvious symptoms can indeed be challenging to diagnose. Considering you've already replaced the spark plugs and air filter, which are common culprits for such issues, let's explore other potential causes: 1. Oxygen Sensors and Airflow Sensors: Faulty sensors can provide incorrect data to the car's computer, affecting the air-fuel mixture. This can cause the engine to run rich (too much fuel) or lean (not enough fuel), both of which can reduce fuel efficiency. 2. Thanks for the reply! I haven’t replaced the fuel filter no, is there a certain amount of mileage where it should be checked?

Hi, Yes, it's possible that a fuel injector could be completely clogged, leading to no fuel being delivered to one of the cylinders, which would cause a misfire. If you've already replaced the spark plugs and the misfire persists, checking the fuel injectors is a good next step. You might also consider looking at the ignition coils and the fuel filter, as these can also be sources of misfires.
