I loved this. Hype af combo. I wish we could see some combo videos of larger enemies that have stagger bars. Those would be dope af.

The problem with those enemies is you can't lift them airborne so the combos that you can do against them won't look as stylish.

@@ririisu that's true. I personally feel like the game shifts between MGR style gameplay, and DMC gameplay. With stagger based enemies feeling like MGR encounters.

Nah the fight would be over to quick and the editing process would be a nightmare. I mean a Lvl 5 Zantetsuken to a staggered enemy literally cuts their life bar in half if it doesn't outright kill them (which with a maxed damage multiplier (1.50x) is more than likely to happen because Lvl 5 Zantetsuken End is OPAF).

It's nice to see his motivation.

Yes, just upgrade the arm of darkness. Dancing steel to get the zantetsuken level to max quickly, rift slip cancels the after animation of both dancing steel and arm of darkness.

Torgal's Ravage: launches enemies if they're on the ground, and throws them to the ground if airborne. Just need to time it properly.

The point is to build up the meter to expend it all in one Zantetsuken. If you’re good enough you can get more than one in any given stagger window. Leads to huge damage

@@blackwolf4766 if it’s any consolation, if you pair it with Lightning Rod from Ramuh, you can put out more damage than you would alone, gain more meter for less attacks, and gain LB meter when you otherwise wouldn’t

​@blackwolf4766 Itd be way too op. Level 5 zatenzuken is already one of the highest damaging moves in the game. It practically wipes an entire screen of lesser mobs and does a tin of damage to bosses

The skill needed to do this in DMC5 is far greater

Well...I HAVE always thought that instead of watching and taking inspiration from Game of Thrones (which they surely did), someone at Square-Enix played and REALLY liked Devil May Cry 5. But nope, let's just hire the combat director FOR said game, LOL
