See that is what I am about as well........I used to sew, a lot. Got myself into a situation where I had customers waiting for costumes for a festival. Good thing that I had all three machines ready for sewing just in case my oldest machine had a hiccup. Being prepared for what could happen in an otherwise smooth plan makes plan always doable. Not everyone thinks that way. Glad we do.......😊

I think it is common, at least with my cattle, but cattle won’t eat the grass when it has seed heads. We basically do the same thing…mow the pasture so the grass restarts leaf growth. When the cut grass dries, then the cows will eat it, but they still prefer the new growth!😂 Great job on the new three point bale spear! It’s a beast, but will last you a long time.

You're an excellent welder. You could certainly make a living as a welder should you need to some day !! But there was one thing I was concerned about and that was whether or not you had ear protection when you were cutting the flat bars and square stock with your shop saw. I once used a portable concrete saw to repair my front steps and really damaged my hearing because I didn't have ear plugs or other hearing protection. I'm paying for it now !!

Finally caught up on your videos. Had to watch the channel from the beginning. On your 3pt hay spears and with your pallet forks you ever thought about fabricating a scissor lift for the three point hitch especially not having front loader on your tractor. It'll give you a higher reach and would be a great project to watch you work through.

🙋🏻‍♀️ Question: Why do you call it a 3 point feeder when there are only two points? Just have to say that your camera work in pretty creative. Love the shot of Cali sitting on the tractor 🚜. Second, really like that shot in the beginning where the tractor 🚜 feels like it’s going to run over the camera. Third, I really like the shot of you, the cows, Cali, and the rain in the background, while you’re out in the field. That’s a really cool shot. Thanks for sharing, as always enjoyed watching and look forward to your next video. 🙂

I have a design question. Why did you choose to make your hay spear with 2 vertical spears? I don't see many of those and was wondering what led you to that design. I buy hay from others and often have to settle for poor quality hay in tough years. In those times, a tool with two small spears on the bottom and a large spear on the top helps to keep the bale from shifting when lifted. Thanks, as always, for your excellent videos, and I do appreciate those welds you produce.
