Clint Explains: Natural Selection and Variation
Ғылым және технология
Natural selection is one of the primary mechanisms of evolution, and while most people understand that it has to do with organisms adapting to their environments, few people can explain how natural selection really works. Clint explains how natural selection works in populations, and why without variation it simply wouldn't be possible.

I've never seen science Clint and reptile Clint in the same room is all I'm saying. Wait they're both filmed in the reptile room! So I guess, I've never seen them standing together then. ❤
Wow you should do a collab with clints reptiles, you both are so similar!

I'm a Creature Design teacher at a video game design university in the Netherlands. Your videos are very helpful to my students because they explain biological theory so clearly and concisely. Thanks for all you do in spreading zoological knowledge, Clint! :)
I know how all of this works, but I enjoy hearing you explain things.
Love the addition of the chalk noises!!

I’m so excited about this channel because it gives examples that are easy to explain. Thank you Clint!!
Always love learning from Clint. 🤗🤗🤗
Really great discussion of selection pressure, I have been working on a video talking about selection, drift, and all those good evolutionary factors

Thank you! Nate does a fantastic job with them.
Beautiful clear explanation of natural selection. Just wish you had slipped in that the giraffe didn’t grow his neck longer to reach the leaves at the top.
Great video, as always.

That False Water Cobra is astounding. I love False Water Cobras , I will never own a false Water Cobra or any venomous snake but I do adore false water cobras.
Genetics and snakes, 2 of my favourite things.
I wish you were my teacher
Idk why nature over time would make that cobra’s water fake, seems a little rude if you ask me

You're absolutely right about that! Poor thing...
False Water Cobras are awesomtacular pet snakes
...in which Clint accidentally explains the risk of monoculture farming.
I hear you're religious; try a 'Clint Explains why his invisible sky-tyrant is real' video.
