For everyone that uses the cleansing oil/balm with a cotton pad.. please don’t do it your going to waste a lot of product and fail the purpose of an oil cleanser The sense of oil cleansers or balm to oils is to remove everything (spf, makeup, dirt) oil soluble Also: please don’t use solid oils (eg coconut oil) to remove your makeup its not going to wash off as oil is not water soluble, oil cleansers have special ingredients (emulsifiers) to be water soluble that’s why they get milky when in water contact @amy love your video, you really should try the cleansing oil by clinique 🥰

You do know that you can get reusable bamboo cotton pads right that’s what I use and I stick them in the washing machine to clean so I can re use them

Hello. I use both of these products daily. I just take a qtip and dip it into the eye liquid and wipe on my eyelids. I then use the balm to clean my entire face. Using this technique, I have made a sample size bottle of the eye remover last about 3 months.

Hi. When using a cleanser with cotton pads, it's best to place the soaked cotton pad on you eye for a few seconds to break down the makeup before rubbing. This helps reduce the amount of rubbing & tugging on the eyes; which will also reduce wrinkles in the long run.

I absolutely LOVE the original oil remover it was great for my eyes and was very moisturizing. I would continue to use it if it wasnt for the fact that I ran out really fast and I used so many cotton pads :( cotton is not great for the environment so I am really interested in getting the balm now. Super informative and interesting video!

I agree with your opinion! I enjoy the balm as well, but to be honest, I usually use a cotton ball with it to remove my makeup. I’ve never tried it by just rubbing. While the oil remover is good, I find it a bit harder on my eyes, because I have to do extra scrubbing to get makeup off.

I totally agree with you! I’ve never tried using the balm with a cotton ball. I think if you rub it between your fingers first it kind of warms the balm up and makes it super effective!

I prefer the balm more because it is gentle on the skin cotton ball sometimes with rubbing it would cut some of the eyelashes which I hate the most

I love this product!! The balm that is. A little goes a long way and it doesn’t dry out my face. Tonight I used it as a pre cleanser cleanser. I had no makeup on prior. I want to add that your voice is so soothing and calming. You should do podcasts lol just read books on a podcast or ebook sort of thing

I saw another American youtuber use a make up balm and I was soo interested in buying one only because when you use make up removers with cotton pads I find that if doesn’t actually take it all off because cotton pads can’t actually reach the inner corners of your face such as around your nose area and under your eye lid area. I have found that with balms because you apply it to your face with your hands you can get into them impossible corners and it will melt it off hmm

@Marian Hawke I have very bad acne to so I tend to use products that have sacylic acid as an ingredient i have tried unscented and sceneries baby wipes and even make up removing wipes I’m just allergic to it so I use water to rinse it off but I use moisters to hydrate the skin hmm

You can always skip through to the parts you want to see! I know some people appreciate knowing about what’s in the products, what they’re supposed to do, etc so I keep that in there to make sure everyone has the information they’re looking for ☺️
