Those are great saws, the carb is set way rich from the factory. You can take the deflector off the muffler and turn it almost a half turn leaner on the high side after you pull the cap.

I haven't been using it much because I found it to be somewhat gutless from factory. Thanks for the tip, I'm definitely going to try that! What do you mean by "cap"?

@JesseSullivanKZread the carb adjustment screws have red limiter caps on them that keep them from being turned. It's been found constantly that these saws are tuned extremely rich that's why you think it's gutless. The muffler deflector is the outermost shield on the muffler that I think holds the screen too. Take that off and you'll be amazed. That saw shouldn't 4 stroke in the cut at all it'll scream if it's dialed in.

Enjoyed the video. Very nice job taking down the evergreen. The Echo 355t is a workhorse. I've put mine through it's paces and it has served me well. Did have to replace the oiler. Other than that never a problem. I run a 16" bar and cut some heavy duty stuff.

@@JesseSullivanKZread Maybe 6 months. Been fine ever since....8 months later. Probably my fault running too low on oil one outing.

I need 50 cc and this one. gonna get 50 cc one first and later the smaller one.

I really love my 355t I sent mine out to get ported and I run a 16 panther bar on it. Thing is a laser beam through pine and fir.

Let me tell you something about that saw.. it is a good saw and it starts easy. Do not snatch on the saw when it gets hung up, the base in the front where the handle is mounted WILL BREAK. That part is very cheaply made.. Besides that, the saw is strong...

Thanks for the heads up! I'm use to the stihl 194T, which is a very solid saw. It is just lacking in the power department..
