Must be tough to have to stick to camp when you can see the mountain in front of you. I'm sure you are pretty anxious to get going. Hopefully tomorrow goes well. Be safe, have fun.

Thank you for all the great videos it's truly a magical land, I love seeing all the little villages on the way to BC. I was in shock when you said there are about 1200 people there at base camp. I do hope everyone abides by the "pack it in pack it out" philosophy. Enjoy, be safe and I look forward to watching the next leg of yours and your amazing sherpa's trek.

Keep up the great work and these awesome vids brother! Just found your channel and I’m hooked. Love the transparency you bring to Everest and how you’re making it seem like with proper training and a goal in mind it’s possible, if you work hard enough towards the financial and endurance challenges that come with such a goal.

Absolutely love your videos man. Really raw and telling it how it is. I think you need to get yourself a GoPro though. Not quite sure how you're going to film on your phone when you really start climbing. Be safe!

I just assume he is doing what he went there for and spent a ton of money to do :) Climb a mountain. I'm sure there will be many days where we are waiting on pins and needles to hear how he is doing but we gots to be patient at the same time, I hope that he spend time in the moment absorbing the experience.

Thanks for the effort in shooting and editing in this environment! How do you charge your equipment at EBC? Appears you are working on the one-handed technique for passing anchors. Are the locker biners screwed down between the anchors or just left unscrewed? I bet you are pumped to get above 6,000m. Looking forward to the video of that climb, especially any technical challenges on that objective.

Ryan, what is the best way to learn about the rope system? I struggled with this on mount rainier.

Ryan, did they move Everest basecamp back further? Last season there was much controversy regarding the heaters in the large domes and urinating on glacier is rapidly increasing its melt (making the khumbu icefall even more perilous). The Government had said they were moving basecamp. Has this actually occurred? Thanks in advance if anyone answers this.
