I have been wanting to ride the legendary Cliffhanger since I saw them do it during this year's Cape Epic. It ended up being one of my all time favourite rides and I will definitely go back to ride it again some time. The ride up had a lot of switchback climbing and an e-bike would have been great but going down with my normal mountain bike still made the peddling worth the effort. Once you start going down Cliffhanger, the turns get really steep and scary and I would not recommend riding that section for those who are scared of heights.
For the rest... It should be on everybody's bucket list of mountain bike trails to ride in South Africa.
