My absolute favorite number by Cliff Richard and when he sings the song I believe every word(even though I know it is just a song). He is a genuine good guy and always has been! The world needs more Cliffs :-)

Die 80er - von allen Jahrzehnten, die ich (Jahrgang 1977) bisher erlebt hab' (70er nicht mitgerechnet), ist dieses Jahrzehnt musikalisch MIT ABSTAND das beste. Ich meine, es gibt aus den nachfolgenden Jahrzehnten auch gute Songs (90er, 00er, 10er...), aber dieses Häufung von Superhits... Die kommt wohl so schnell nicht wieder.

The absolute gentleman of pop/rock. He paid a lot in lost airplay and exposure for staying clean and shunning the drink and drugs culture of rock stars. Eventually he had the last laugh with the death of radio. Now with music openly accessible and free from the restrictive programming of radio stations, people with good taste can continue to enjoy the impressive musical legacy of Sir Cliff for generations to come. What a legend!!

This man is a true performer. Anyone who attended his concert in Darwin, Australia in 1988 could confirm. Torrential downpour, so no fancy show possible. At the last minute he changed the whole concert and sang, just him, with an acoustic guitar. Was amazing!

Have loved this song forever - major bereavement recently and chose this for the funeral so it's incredibly poignant, but will never be able to listen again without desperate sadness - small sacrifice though as the lyrics were so fitting ... Really struggling with the loss - life is so cruel 💔

I`m one of these " I`m not like that all " people. I love to be like this....but live can be so so hard like this very often....getting hurt over and over again. Everytime i`m listening to this song, it brings tears to my eyes.

Amazing song, great message and fantastic singer of course. The dance troops who have consistently worked with Sir Cliff over the years are exemplary. Incredible arrangement all round. Love Sir Cliff and all he stands for. 🙂❤👍

Cliff resurrected his career around this time with some impressive hits. 3 or 4 Top 3's and big hits in the USA

There's always crappy people that are gonna be after his money and success. It's the price of fame. Michael Jackson was a perfect example. So many people orchestrated his downfall that in the end it broke him. I'm glad to see that didn't happen with cliff to the point where he broke. I hope it never happens in the future.

John, it was a travesty. They needed a scapegoat, Cliff was it. When they couldn't convict him of lies, the media tried to destroy his career. He is, simply put, a national treasure.
