I said "external" instead of "eternal" when reading out the John 3:16 quote. And, ironically that slip of the tongue will not perish on the internet, but have eternal life.

You are absolutely wonderful! I mean WONDERFUL! You are a marvelous story teller and teacher; I certainly hope that you understand that. Your engaging manner and your freedom to see what can be seen, toasted with sarcasm when then situation seems to truly deserve it, is delightful. A transcription of your collected presentations would make a great book. I can't wait for the next chapter! Thank you very much for sharing with us.

You come upon an obelisk made from a type of stone you have never seen before. Staring at it intensely, the smooth surface suddenly changes to an inscription. The inscription is a piece of a lost ancient map. Quickly you copy down the piece and the inscription vanishes as abruptly as it had appeared.

"Ozymandias" - the title of a sonnet by Percy Shelley, was taken from one of Ramses II names. There was also a stage play I was in at university by the same name. I think it was someone' s original work there. I may be wrong...but you would know Raven...didn't Ramses II have an exhibit that toured for...decades? If so...and I am not confused, then that is the exhibit I saw more than once, simply because I dated the niece of a lady who was an exhibit tour guide = ) AND this, from the movie REDS: Marvin Boggs (John Malkovich): "If there's one thing I know, it's women...and covert operations." Francis "Frank" Moses (Bruce Willis): "That's two things..." Han Cho Bai (Byung-hun Lee): "No Grasshopper...It is not."

@@DigItWithRaven I know, right? Have watch at least a portion of the RED movies every time they are on., but mostly, I watch the whole thing! I was ALSO going to make an Asterisk and Obelisk joke...like "There's Obelisk, where is Asterisk?" So thank-you for giving me the opportunity by replying! = )

Raven, i've just rediscovered your channel again after your absence, and just watched your return video; Congratulations! We all love your work and are happy to see you moving to London and working in the field you love and adore. We don't, however, want you to burn out or feel any pressure to post videos for us on a set schedule. Don't let anyone pressure you! I'm not sure what you are doing in London, but, if you do feel absolutely compelled to post viddys for us, I wonder; there's a "Curator's Corner" thing that one of London's museums does where Dr. Irving Finkel yells at all of us about cuneiform, and the history of board games, as well as many other personalities illuminating us on many a topic. Perhaps you might merge this with something like that so you get two birds with one viddy? I dunno. I'm just spitballing ideas to try make your life easier so you don't get stressed and we get to see you most importantly in the long term, doing what you love, instead of you feeling pressured to perform for us. :) Congratulations and it's wonderful to see you back! :)

Fascinating, thanks for sharing this in depth part of history I never knew about, also when the earth was created with an atmosphere etc the only substances getting through it are the occasional meteors, at least that’s what I figure, so isn’t everything on this planet billions of years old, including this phone I’m typing on, the floor I walk on the water we drink, etc , everything made with the same recycled building blocks that make up substance? Thanks again! I enjoy your channel

She was talking about Sir William Wilson when she said privileged white male. Because she said that i am having a hard time not getting triggered. He did a lot for the poor even spending money out of his own pocket and she used a phrase that is very insulting in my opinion. This guy was very smart and used it to help people and she demeans him like that.
