What's the problem? The problem is he was found guilty of a cowardly assault, he should be serving his suspension now. I'm not a Eels or Pamthers fan but as a league fan it's a disgrace.

Diffusing the situation requires face to face dialogue. as soon as he placed hands on the young fan without his permission Taylan escalated the situation to physical assault, doubling up to intimidation when he stood over the young man. Play don’t play….May put everyone at risk in that environment when he escalated this, especially the young fan who had no control over where he might land. The NRL is saying its ok to assault someone we can catch you up next year.

“What’s the Problem?” You player pled guilty to assault and gets his suspension at the end of the year. Blatant preferential treatment by the nrl. Hopefully this sets a precedent that any and all suspensions this finals series gets deferred till next year

that would be fair to the other teams but its a bad precedent in general, when it is that blatant and clear cut, like on film like that, the suspension should be immediate.

Tried that on in some of the pubs i use to drink in the 80's and 90's and ye would have had ye head rearranged , coward punch effectively

Any other players would be suspended especially if they are in a QLD team, other players have been suspended by the NRL till the player gets their day in court. Penrith are nothing but cheats and need to be disqualified from the finals if they play May in the next 2 games.

It's all about business. NRL needs to protect their revenues.. the likes of storms, panthers, roosters....now it's for the fans... Why couldn't they be consistent for the fans during the season.. why now??

its not about para but about the NRL in general, there should be no preferential treatment and players of any team should not feel entitle to go out and assault a member of the public from behind and then get preferential treatment from the NRL it sets a bad precedent.
