The cat is there because there is mice. Actually, the cat is not the problem, but the solution. Put all the fruits, food, etc inside tin cans that animals cannot open. The kitchen does not have a door and animals are always going to roam there at night, after all it is their territory. Assume that anything left outside is dirty. Sorry, but that is just reality. You have a very good taste and a green thumb and I really enjoy all your videos. Thank you.

Yes the cat is very helpful but perhaps you could stop it getting in with a simple cloth drop blind but then the mice might come back so storage ideas are probably best.

Bravo! we are starting to see so much progress. Your garden looks fabulous, (I'm a bit jealous at all the strawberries you keep finding 😉) the summer kitchen is fully used, and the bathroom is almost there. Personally, I would not be buying a mattress secondhand. One never knows where it's been or coming from or what it might be hiding. Sergi will surely like his little fishing gearbox. One can use it for all kinds of things. And I, being vertically challenged, often ask passers-by to help in shops or on the street. usually makes that person feel good that they could give a helping hand. 😉. Love watching your videos.

You're doing so well juggling all sorts of tasks & projects. Just an idea here...I really advise getting new mattresses as you don't know what's happened with used ones @ the 2nd hand stores & maybe have dust mites etc. Hope you 2 can push through & get bathroom totally finished & also the kitchen so you can move in. You'll save more money too not paying rent & travelling to & fro but I know you know that. 🥰 I hope Sergie finds everything in the " storage" room you did a great job sorting.🧡🧡🧡❣️😊

Yes, I agree with you I was thinking the same thing when she said looking for mattresses and the secondhand store. They might have some new ones that have never been used and are sealed so maybe that’s what she was looking for. I can’t see Alla buying used mattresses. Some places are not allowed to sell secondhand mattresses. It’s a byelaw or some thing to that effect. I don’t know if that is so in Italy.

You probably have rats and mice again and the cat is chasing them. I would put fruits in the fridge crisper, leave nothing out to attract rodents. The house is coming along, great job.

PLEASE PLEASE do not buy second hand/used mattresses. They can hold numerous kinds of mites and bugs, dead skin cells, body fluids etc. It is one expense that must be new. No one discards a mattress that is still good !! You are just getting someone else's disgusting mattress.

Trap and remove the cats to an animal shelter.

I agree with others. A used mattress is not hygienic. Maybe they will have a new one at the shops. 🫶🏼
