It doesn't really matter how long it takes to be awaken. Somewhere else Eckhart said that mankind has been slept/mind-conditioned for thousands of years, and that it's awesome that some individuals are aware of that and start an awakening journey. I'd say the really important part is the awakening process itself. It is not a goal, but a journey.

I agree, I've experienced rude people but I try and not give it attention and stay positive and send them love.💖💖that changed the whole vibe so rather than getting caught up in the negative mind narrative. I also laugh at it and see the funny side and awaken to the fact that everything that happens to us is the teacher and we choose between love or fear💚💚💚💚

@@lenakrupinski6303 I love your way of thinking and sometimes it is hard isn't it, especially when someone does or says something which hits a nerve. The challenges of everyday life at the moment has made us all either numb it out or consume some more through alcohol, drugs, spending, for example. Sitting with these uncomfortable emotions rather than reacting on impulse and allowing it always helps to release and transform in to something new, no matter how hard it is. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Happy Christmas 💖💖

4:20 the greater part of hu-man unhappiness arises out of a dysfunctional use of your mind, not so much the circumstances of your life. remember persons appear to be pursuing happiness, when they're really trying to avoid the pain of seeing their false self

So, so true. The mind always makes a bad situation worse, but only if you let it. You have to train it like a dog. If you don't it runs riot, creating the fictitious narratives from where unhappiness can grow. Staying present is the strongest antidote to thought.

It’s attaching to this illusion that is the cause of our suffering. May you be at Peace. And, yes, please enjoy your path for now. May you one day realize… there is no path.

As long as we are alive and breathing there will be pain and suffering of some kind or another that we have to deal with. Some of it of our own doing and some by other people and events which we have no control over. Your own perception of events , people , places and labeling of them is paramount here. If you analyze, interpret, and label things wrong then your reaction or solution to them will be wrong. First you must diagnose right then your prognosis will be right. Have a nice life.

Sometimes when i have over thought something, it was legitimate. What i was being told didn't make sense. By overthinking it, I realized why i felt that way, if i was reasonable and solved the issue. All overthinking isn't bad. Sometimes action and thinking are needed or we'd accept anything as oh let it be. Nope, some things should not have a let it be attitude.

I believe that life is like that, with risks, dangers, challenges and also with pleasant moments, with triumphs and also with misfortunes. Through infinite time, the beings of our planet have developed the ability to think, but now our species needs to evolve to continue existing, this is how life seems to be, life without beginning or end, the greatest of mysteries. But the important thing is that each one of the living beings manages to spend the time that we inhabit the earth, with peace, tranquility, well-being and joy, through evolving to the next step, which is enlightenment. As soon as enlightenment arrives, we can start by stopping the negative thoughts that the mind produces by being in the Now.
